This jump & run is well to play, good job! I liked the main character, it is something different. The only thing I missed was some background music
Yeah the lack of music is with much regret, I was working on it to iron out bugs right up until I uploaded it and unfortunately the music just didnt have time.
That 3D figure in a 2D game got me. How did you do that?!
I was just a little confused how to continue in the second level at this big room where bug were continual spawning. Maybe I missed something?
It might be a small detail but I loved how the symbols on the stone plates changed with fog and sound in sync.
Its pretty easy really, I got the model and animations from mixamo, take that into Godot and place it into a viewport, then set a sprite to show the viewport. The spawning bugs should stop after you kill 10, perhaps something went wrong :/
It is really that easy?! Thank you for the explanation!
It's more likely that I was too impatient and didn't even kill 10 bugs. Will definitely give it another try :)
Nice mysterious feeling in this. I actually guessed the third symbol accidentally on the first try, but then got game over and decided to make the detour too. Overall very nice, especially I appreciate that you can bypass that one portion if you already know the answer. Makes game over less frustrating :)
I was tempted to make the third one be a random selection each time but I also kind of liked the choice to skip, I was going to add a timer for the wildcard but didnt get a chance in the end but I thought that would be a nice way to shave down the time taken.
Main character is nicely animated, that your work?
No, I wish it was but I cant claim that, it is from Mixamo.
Ah no shame in that. I tried using a Mixamo asset in mine but the style didn't fit with the rest of my assets so ditched it
Solid jam game! Some background music would've been great
Yeah I think music would of made a real difference and was always on my to do list but alas I ran out of time.
