Art style is really cool. The game was little hard but I think it's fair. Overall really nice game.

Really interesting idea! I found the physics of jumping a little too random, it was hard to build a strategy for each level because sometimes I'd leave the alien alone and I'd get stuck and then repeating the same part of the same level would see the character just sail past that same area. (The start of level 3 was the worst for this). The artwork is cute and the symmetrical level design is really interesting, was hard to keep an eye on both tracks.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback. Yes it's hard to build a strategy. The main reason being that platforms and items placement are random and different each time. The game could be played endless if you don't collect the coins. Things were placed manually in the beginning of each levels. However, we noticed that how the physics impact the player is different each time so exact behavior is not predictable. We need to see if we can limit some of the randomness of the physics engine. Finally yes the jump would require some fine tuning. Thanks for playing the game!

Really liked the different designs of the levels!

The art was great.

I also found the game mechanic pretty interesting. But sometimes I seemed to die for no apparent reason. Texts for all the reasons one can lose would've been nice (like the splash for the water).

Didn't beat level 3 yet but I'll give it another go if I find some time this week :D

All in all well don!

Short addendum:

1. Regarding the dying for no apparent reason: Just realized that there a tornado following a ball, but this is not visible when using the Safari Browser on MacOS.

2. Also saw right now that the Buttons and Sliders in the Settings are mirrored as well. This is an awesome detail!

Developer

Thank you for playing the game! Did you beat level 3?

For the tornado not displaying on Safari, it could be because we used GLES3 rendering. Did you see it on a different browser or was it the native version, which you used?

Haven't had time yet 😅

Google Chrome on MacOS worked.

i like the execution of this game. It's a bit easy to die at the start though

Pretty tough game for me! The mirrored effect is really nicely done, and I liked that not everything was exactly mirrored so you had to watch both sides carefully.

Developer

Thank you for playing! Yes it's difficult to get used to watch both side. We tried this concept to comply with the theme.
