This game was evil at the start bro, it gave me half star for both my recipes. I don't really know my goal other than making recipes at first. I suggest slowly showing new mechanics rather than give access to the whole game cause I didn't know what to do when I started and read everything at first. I also was surprised by the stars on my bread aswell, I was whiplashed by being bad at the game already. Maybe point to a certain direction how to make good bread at the start or something idk. 69/420 it works on windows.

GAME BREAKING BUG FIX

A game breaking bug was fixed. The player was unable to progress due to the shop being stuck and not refreshing its inventory once per day. If the shop gets stuck again press F1 to force regenerate the shop inventory.

Progression should now be possible.

Amazing job on the game, but It really lacks some music and sound effects though. And maybe you could slowly open the player to the ingredients and all the requests, it was very overwhelming at the beginning. Also I encountered a bug on the requests screen, I think I opened the fulfill contract button, but closed the requests screen, and once I returned, the window to fulfill the contract was still on, wich made clicking on some requests basically impossible.

Thank you very much for player our game!

Music & Sound is the part I regret most of not finishing. Sadly I did not have any time left to add background music and sound effects.

I do agree in your assesment that it is quite overwhelming. If we decide to actually develop this further, after the jam has finished, this is the top most thing to improve.

To the bug you encoutered: was it a game breaking bug, or just a major inconvenience which resolves it self after going back to the main menu?

Again, good work on the game, and I do hope you keep working on it!

About the bug: It doesn't leave the screen even after exiting the menu, but it goes away if you click on one of the requests, and submit some bread, it's not game-breaking per se, it just makes it so that the buttons to the requests are mostly covered, with only a bit of space to work with, and he can't read the requests, so if he has no bread, and can't read the requests to see what he needs to submit in order for the screen to go away, he needs to have them memorized or just bake a ton of bread and hope for the best. But it should be an easy fix, you just need to update the fulfill contract screen and hide it when the player presses the X button. Another one: As I was testing later, I found out that when you have enough bread to fulfill a contract and open the fulfill contract window, but instead of submitting the request, you click on the request button again, it keeps adding the amount of bread you have on the ui, it isn't actually a dupe, as it juts do that on the ui. Hope this helps make your game better :)
