GAME BREAKING BUG FIX

A game breaking bug was fixed. The player was unable to progress due to the shop being stuck and not refreshing its inventory once per day. If the shop gets stuck again press F1 to force regenerate the shop inventory.

Progression should now be possible.

Linux version works. Actually fun to play. Combining bullet-hell and reverse-bullet-hell together may not be the best descicion. Dodging enemy projectiles while pointing in their general direction to kill them is a challenge, some might consider this as a good thing.

The Linux version works but I dont get really far without getting stomped by the rats, even when they are level 2. It would be very helpful to have some sort of direction / path to progress in the game. I found myself  wandering aimlessly throught the map, getting killed -> loading the game -> continue being lost.

The art is lovely and the animation of the piglet and the chicken are done quite well. The game could use a volume slider though.

I can confirm the Linux version works.

The game is really loud and I find the objective was not made verry clear to me. I have two panels i need to work. Constantly spamming [F] to get "money" and [G] to boost that income. Sure with a macro I can spam-click the key 60 times a sec but that is not really good design. IF that is not how you are supposed to play this game, i have totatlly missed it.

Can confirm the linux version works without issues. Progression is slow in the beginning but picks up pace later on. I would most likely have survived even longer but got cocky in wave 10 and got stuck on one of the tube-entrances.

Strategywise it is not very interesting yet. You circle strafe around the map part with the ramps (location of health & damage up), up and down, up and down, in circles for minutes at a time. Running backwards shooting the flying breads while doing the circle strafe technique. I would have loved to see some mechanics to lessen the circle strafing.

All in all it is a decent game. Great start for a bigger game if you decide to develop it further. If you do, make sure your levels contain more verticality to make things more intresting and try to have less deadended paths (or provide a map).

The Linux version of this game does not work. It starts but then fails to load the enemies (see image). I have the terminal open to show the debug log.

The "Settings" button in the main menu does nothing.  The graphics are not scaled properly (as seen in the screenshot). However placement of the towers work, but can say much about the rest as nothing is happening once the first wave arrives.

A small enjoyable game.

But certainly lacks a volume slider. I played to around to the 15minute mark... does it actually get harder? It feels like it takes ages now to level up and see all the different upgrades that are available.

Anyway well done on the pixel art!

Thank you very much for player our game!

Music & Sound is the part I regret most of not finishing. Sadly I did not have any time left to add background music and sound effects.

I do agree in your assesment that it is quite overwhelming. If we decide to actually develop this further, after the jam has finished, this is the top most thing to improve.

To the bug you encoutered: was it a game breaking bug, or just a major inconvenience which resolves it self after going back to the main menu?
