Oh man, after playing through that I'm gonna need a coffee. Just horrifying. Great job. I'd love to know what a bone receptacle is.

Developer

The bone receptacle was supposed to have bones in it, but for now it’s just a mystery…

Thanks so much for playing!

Epic! I too was hit with funny glitches in the browser including some objects like the coffee machine frame disappearing depending on distance and horrible lag near the (I assume) the end prevented me to finish, but I really enjoyed this regardless and you’ve used Godot 4 so I’m impressed by the 3D export into HTML working this much, yay! I’m staying on 3 for reliable web export which is a big plus for jams, but I’m looking forward to 4 as much as the next Godoteer so this is great news ;)

Very cool and Kudos for Open Source, I’ve enjoyed briefly checking your code, naming, and general structure.

Thanks so much!

Yeah, 3D HTML 5 is a bit of a stretch at the best of times, and I included a lot of lights in the final section…

Sorry about my code, it got pretty spaghetti there towards the end!

Thanks so much for playing!

I’ve been allowed to upload a fix to the lag issue, if you wanted to experience the full ending :)

Same here. Really bad at the end with the HTML so I got stuck and no idea about the actual ending (although I can make an educated guess). Also, attempting to download the Windows build was blocked by my browsers. Are they links to files somewhere else or did you upload them to itch?

Developer

I did upload directly to itch, and it’s a really weird issue. I’ve included an alternative download via a release on my github page, and updated the page text to reflect that.

Thanks for playing!

Hmm. I have seen this blocking problem with at least one other game in this jam. I have to admit, I was quite surprised that a 3D game would work this well in a browser.

Sorry, forgot to add that I really like the game - like an interactive short story. Feels like something that could be the intro to a much bigger horror themed game of some sort. Nicely done.

Got there in the end... if you'll forgive the pun.

I loved the story to this one and the music was top notch and creepy. I don't want to give anything away for the other jammies, but I enjoyed it! I had performance issues near the end on the HTML5 version.

Thanks so much! I really pushed the limits of what I can accomplish with this one, and I’m super proud of it.

Sorry about the performance issues!

Sarah does amazing music, I’m very lucky to have her work with me on this project.

Thanks for playing!
