Now it’s fixed! If your head is in the water, you breathe just fine! Also check out the hats!

No more getting stuck in the tank! Fixed :) Thank you for the feedback. Also we added hats!!

New update dropped with all of your feedback accounted for :)

Cohesive visuals and great sound!

I love murder mysteries and this feels like such a solid game idea! Wish I could somehow figure out which luggage belongs to who.

Great work :)

I’ll boot up virtualbox later and debug, thanks for letting me know!!

Super fun game, you put that tileset to work so well!

I got myself locked here when I fell in with the wall jump ability

Great work

Great work! The gameplay is crunchy and feels good, it all looks great and the sounds are really nice

I had lots of fun playing

Maybe it would be too easy but with how zoomed-in the camera is I ended up dying to something that was off screen because I went too fast and didn’t see it in time

For added crunch maybe a short time-stop when you kill something?

Super fun! pretty hard to dodge the enemy cards, maybe I’m just bad lol!

Lmao, simple and really polished. Great work!

THERE ARE NO PATHETIC CARDS IN MY GRANDPA’S DECK

I wish I could process the information fast enough! Implementing 12??? Different abilities in 2 days is really cool!!

Really fun concept and great execution :)

Glitch through walls: I think when you turn your head you’re probably manually changing the player’s rotation instead of letting the physics do it?

Climb up in corners: idk just kinda jam yourself in there and you’ll move up

ALSO I think the point you’re rotating around when you turn your head is probably offset in front of the player’s collider?? Just a guess

one of the boardwalk backgrounds, the backgrounds you see are randomized so easy to miss! image.png

I’ve tried making 3d games for jams before and this one is really solid! I found my way out of the office pretty quick and explored, too bad you didn’t add collision to the ground outside lol.

My first time creating a safety hazard for a jam! Better put a disclaimer next time, flop at your own risk!

I’ll be honest, neither do I lol. I had to re-make the fish from scratch 1 hour before the jam ended because it exploded and was unsalvageable. I’d much prefer if it did less wiggling and more spinning, but who am I to tell a fish how to flop?

YEE HAA

Fantastic work! Had fun AND learned a new card game!

This does not feel like a first-jam kinda game, you’ve got a lot of polish, everything looks great, nothing feels clunky or out of place, great stuff! Great implementation of the theme and special object too! Good choice with the crackling and the candle to add to the ambiance.

Oh great feedback! I agree on all points and am still kicking myself over the win screen lol.

I’m really glad you thought it was cool, thanks for the kind words :) If I get the chance to go back in and do a few updates I’ll keep your feedback in mind!

yoooo we put our cats in our game too!! Super cute game. Meowthwash lmao

Wooo! ULTIMATE FISH

Yes! Something broke right before we submitted the game so the win screen never showed up!

Here’s what you would have seen once you reached the ocean :)

I love memory games, I love this take on the theme too. I only wish there were more to play! Suffering from success I guess.

Easily my favorite so far. I’ve been playing a lot of Balatro recently and this really hit the spot. I’ve had “gardening rougelite” stuck in my head for a while and I’m so glad to see it executed so well.

So fun! Reminds me of Dwarfs!? which I played as a kid, and a little of CotL, maybe that’s just the sound effects.

I had trouble staying alive for long, but that’s just a skill issue.

Loving the particles! I would love to see this turtle get up to more antics :)

So clean! Great controls and the double jump mechanic is responsive and feels great.

You’ve made a really great game.

Thank you so much!

Incredibly cool mechanic! I had some trouble starting off but once I got a hang of it it was super fun! I didn’t make it as far as I wanted, once all the platforms are covered in spikes I struggle.

Nice job

That’s wild, I have no idea what could have caused that! I will look into it, Bevy might be more unstable than I realized.

I’m so glad you enjoyed it still :)

The music is so good! Funky!! Having to juggle two abilities so quickly is challenging but feels super rewarding. I love the fire breathing lizard so much and I wish there were more lizards.

Great job, I’m glad I got to check it out.

Oh no! I’d love to figure out what’s wrong. If you’d like you can let me know what browser you’re in / what you see when you hit play / that kinda thing. No worries though. I can also drop the downloadable windows build once the jam is over if you still want to play :)

I enjoyed this so much! It’s almost like a deck building game. I would love to see this concept expanded on. Great job, one of my favorites of the jam.

Super cool lighting and environment. Great work!

Really solid, makes me was to replay hollowknight or celeste.

Tried to get a top time but dang people are fast.

So fun! I wish there were more levels to play!! Same as the other comment, the final anchor was hard to grab on to, but other than that, brilliant work!!

Such a fun movement mechanic.

Thank you!

Yeah I will do a little more playtesting next time lol

Everything is fantastic, I think the sound was phenomenal, the music for the second stage surprised me! God

Just fantastic, it’s got the JUICE!!!

I will grind out some new PB’s when I have the chance, these records are just crazy fast.

Just insanely polished, you’ve set the bar so high.

I’m happy to show you tomorrow, it is late here

Thank you so much :)

I’ve worked with Godot before and, knowing what I know, your game was truly exceptional. if you don’t already and you’re looking for more jams to do, the monthly Godot Wild Jam would be lucky to have you participate.
