This was a great game! Love the aesthetic, and the ambience. The puzzles are neat, and I legitimately want to know more about the world and what’s going on.
Thanks!
A really neat example of a LUT graphics style! I’ve been meaning to do something similar myself at some point!
I wonder if I’ve been conditioned somehow, because that capsule did absolutely nothing threatening, but I had a sword and… well. Slash!
Your audio was really good as well, you should be proud.
Well done!
Step 1: Build mines over and over
Step 2: Build 1000 units
Step 3: Win!
What a fun game! I love RTS’s, and though I found the lack of something like the standard unit controls a bit odd to begin with, I do like the simplicity of telling my units “go f%^# up stuff over there” and they go and do that.
Well done!
Thanks so much! Fetse did such a great job with the artwork, it really has so much character to it, and the faceplant is just chefs kiss.
I’m hoping to continue working on this one a bit, and add in some of the stuff we had planned, like buttons and switches, turn it into more of a puzzle metroidvania style game.
Thanks for playing!
Fetse did an amazing job with the artwork, but I ended up running out of time to make the most of it with mechanics and level design!
Actually planning on adding in a lot more stuff and re-releasing it, so hopefully I stick to that plan. An actual pogo-stick powerup is actually a really good idea…
Thanks for playing!
This was fantastic!
The artwork is gorgeous, and the mechanic is well thought out. The difficulty curve could use some adjusting, and I accidentally lost more than a few times because of how slippery the spirit control is, which was frustrating.
However, I really enjoyed the puzzles, and in the end, had an amazing time.
Well done!
This is a great game! Lots of polish, a well thought out gameplay loop, and great visuals and audio. You’ve received lots of feedback on the controls, so instead I’d like to mention that I think this would really shine with some adaptive music.
Like, introducing a fast paced drum beat when you pick up a chilli, having some kind of happy travel motif when you have passengers, or having the music turn big and ponderous when you have a certain number of carriages.
That’s just a suggestion, of course. Overall this was such a cool game it doesn’t really need it.
Well done!
This was really quite fun! The limited movement of the cannon, and the limited reload speed were really good for creating tension, loved it.
I did find the controls a bit janky, though. Sometimes not registering, sometimes the cannon wouldn’t fade.
The artwork was gorgeous, and the music and sound design fit really well.
Well done!
