Very cool idea , I like it ,nice game!!
good job !!!!!!!!!
Very cool! It's not easy to pull off UI-intensive games with the theme this effectively. I liked it.
Interesting idea. I felt like I was back in my old job. Afraid I'm not cut out for the cursing business.
Great work on the UI for this. Its fun to flick through the handbook while a thousand emails are arriving in the inbox (help).
I also laughed at the idea of there being specific code in hell for Exodia related issues.
Thank you!
Hahaha, there's a special place saved for people like Weevil Underwood ๐
Very fun alternative take on Papers, Please. The presentation is great and the tutorial is very well-done! Props!
Thank you! ๐
The curse of working in an office...
Really fun concept, reminded me a bit of Papers, Please and the fact that I had to constantly look the manual up for runes while the inbox kept flooding added a lot to the tension. The dreaded new email notification sound...
Good job!
A true curse indeed...
'Papers, Please' was certainly the main inspiration for us, so I'm delighted that that came across! ๐
I was definitely was hoping for a sense of dread as the emails pile up! ๐ Thanks so much for playing!
Fun concept! I really liked the element of flipping through the handbook frantically trying to find the right runes. It did feel like it got to a point where you just can't keep up with the emails coming in though, around 7 emails was the max I could get. Or maybe I'm just bad, who knows.
Thanks for giving us a go! We really appreciate it!
Yeah, I'm really happy with how they handbook turned out. Definitely something satisfying about flipping through and finding what you need.
Nah, that's on me; I certainly would have liked to spend more time tuning the speed of emails coming in. I definitely think it ended up way too fast. My average run on this build is about 8 emails, and that's with me having insider knowledge on what words to look for, so you're definite on a good pace! I didn't want it to be too slow paced in a game jam, so that people weren't waiting around too much to actually "play the game", so I kept tuning up the speed as the deadline drew near, but it definitely got swung too far in the other direction by the end ๐
Let's send some curse, and let's do that in an organised way :D
I loved the company approach and the fact that you make a game out of email reading.
So please no more raisin cookie Lucas !
Thank you so much for giving us a try!
Exactly! Even demons need a bit of organization to get things done! ๐ค
Muahahaha, I will dupe all with my cookies! ๐
