Game Description
It's a tactical, top-down shooter where you play as Glorp-a-dorp (or simply Glorp). You place defenses during the day, and fend off waves of enemies during the night.
How does your game tie into the theme?
Glorp experiences nightmares where his home is invaded by so many monsters! Nightmares are kinda like dreams, right?

I love this kind of animation, it always feels good to me. But the sounds is a bit overwhelming
Nice concept and presentation. Unfortunately I couldn't switch blocks as the scroll somehow doesn't seem to be working with the trackpad. This meant I could pass only the first level. Music is good. Well done overall!
You can use 1, 2, 3, to switch blocks. Sorry for not mentioning, massive oversight on my part. Thanks for the feedback!

I really liked your game because the gameplay was unexpected and fun. I liked the expressivity of the character and the global vibe with the music and graphics. It is one of my favorites.
Like I said the game was really cool and I think it could be better if there were options to reduce sfx volume (at least the turrets haha), if shooting was more useful (or removing shooting for example) and if you could improve a bit your ennemies. I said this last thing because in some levels you are able to block the ennemies (I'm not talking about 3 and 4) and they just can't reach you with their AI algorithm.
Also yeah, someone alreay mentioned it, but some levels are broken. Maybe all the levels are not really balanced, though I really liked how you tried to make each level unique and interesting.
Good one! However a little bit difficult :( I really liked the mix of genres. It reminds me of an old flash game I used to play. Keep up the good work!
Really like the idea of joining tower defense and top down shoter. Sadly I could not beat level 9. Some kind of hint system may be useful (but overscoped for a jam). But the levels I played were funny and challenging.
Little hint on design: Level 3 and 4 give you enough blocks (including canons) to block off all spawners.
I actually found out about the level 3 cheese after the jam ended. I didn't know about the level 4 cheese though, thanks for telling me about that. And yeah, level 9 is pretty hard, but it was kind of hard to balance and I only had so much time left when I made it. Adding one more beartrap / turret makes the level trivial, but not adding it (as is the state of the game right now) makes it really tough. I'll have to tweak some values for the level to be fair.
