Thank you for your feedback and for playing the game!

I will update the game after the jam to provide some x-ray shader where a werepig make noise to make the game more enjoyable.

As for the spoopy vibe, it is what I was going for so I'm glad it's noticeable!

Fun and original submission! I like the take on the theme!

Thank you for playing my game and for your feedback.

  • I feel like the spatialisation of sound is not precise enough to be able to follow exactly the origin of the sound. I will try to tweak it for improvement after the end of the jam. As for the broken fence maybe it was in the first state, because it is more visible as it gets destroyed.
  • The delay is a feature, I wanted to add animations for it to be more smooth but I didn't had the time. I understand how it can feel frustrating.
  • My bad, I know exactly why and I know how to fix it, thanks for finding this bug!!!

Don't worry, there is no endgame it is just an arcade game where the longer you stay the more difficult it gets.

It's normal that the "entities" stops moving when you look at them but you should have lose when the werepigs broke a fence so there is probably another bug to investigate there!

Last week I developed this game called Fency Night: https://foxyraccoon.itch.io/fency-night.

It is a spooky game where the player needs to follow the sounds of werepigs to repair the fences they are breaking before they enter the field.

I was mainly trying to work on my 3D skills and tried to make a simple fun game.

I feel though that it may be too difficult. How did you feel about the game? Do you have any recommendations on how I could improve this game in the future?

Thanks, that's so nice ! We didn't have time to integrate the end of the game though, so don't hesitate to try again when we'll update ;)

Thanks for playing the game anf for your feedback! I am sorry for the complexity of the grappling, we didn't find a way to make it easier during the time frame of the jam.

Okay, I'm glad you could run it. Thanks for the feedback!

Haha, yeah I understood with all the comments that my game wasn't that intuitive.

The gun was able to put back and remove the colors of the dream.

Haha, I'm glad you could finally launch it :)

Thanks for your feedback! I am happy that you liked the title screen, I was kinda proud of my idea ^^

Okay, thanks ^^

No problem, I understand french :) Thanks for fixing that though, for everyone ^^

Thanks ^^ Did you do any specific command to run my game?

Haha, thanks!

I really liked your game because the gameplay was unexpected and fun. I liked the expressivity of the character and the global vibe with the music and graphics. It is one of my favorites.

Like I said the game was really cool and I think it could be better if there were options to reduce sfx volume (at least the turrets haha), if shooting was more useful (or removing shooting for example) and if you could improve a bit your ennemies. I said this last thing because in some levels you are able to block the ennemies (I'm not talking about 3 and 4) and they just can't reach you with their AI algorithm.

Also yeah, someone alreay mentioned it, but some levels are broken. Maybe all the levels are not really balanced, though I really liked how you tried to make each level unique and interesting.

I am sorry, the game looked cool but I couldn't make the jump either. Maybe you could check that you are using physics process and not process to fix that.

Bug fixed ;)

Yeah I just wanted to know if you had the capacity to run it.

Quick comment if you can't run my game, because there seems to have some issues:

"If you can not run the game, there are 2 things to check:

-Your GPU support Vulkan and your GPU drivers are up-to-date

-You have a .NET 6.0 Runtime environment at least (https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/6.0).

Also if you are using MacOS, you can run this command:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "MayTheDreamLast.app" "

I don't know how it works on MacOS for Vulkan support, but are you able to start a Forward+ project on Godot 4.0. Also I am using the .NET version, maybe it comes from there.

To check you can start a Godot project with Forward+ version and tell me if it crashes.

Okay, this is weird, it has been the second time someone report that. Does your computer support Vulkan ? (if you can give me a reference for your graphics card it would be the same) What version of Windows are you using?

Try updating your graphics card driver in a first time.

Thanks for your feedback! Do you mean the usefulness of the weapon or the bindings? I am glad you enjoyed it :)

Sorry for the score. It is a bug in my API and I think I could correct it now because I will not have to submit again. I will ask.

I am truly sorry, I don't knwo how to solve this. I searched the solution today and all I came up with was using:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "MayTheDreamLast.app"

So if someone managed to launch that on their Mac I would be glad to hear how.

I found that on the Godot documentation:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "MayTheDreamLast.app"

codesign -s - --force --deep "MayTheDreamLast.app"

If you are able to try that and tell me if it works, I would be really glad.

I think it is a problem of signing, I will try to see if I can fix that and put the file again. Thanks for noticing me.

Sorry, this is the only platform I could not test, did it get block by GateKeeper or something else ?

I do not think it is on purpose, but I can not hit the Play button.

The game looks and feels good. I think what could have been better is that those moving platforms allow to pass through from behind (I got stuck into the floor).
