Not sure what others said below as I'm too lazy to read it (:P), but just wanted to offer the advice of using the simple WorldBoundaryShape3D (in ColliderShape3D) would fix the going through the ground issue I ran into before I fully read the controls.
And (again, others may have said this) just the general advice of starting with a smaller set of elements to get working, and then layer on others if you have time. Not that I'm the best at this either, but game jams seem to ultimately be about time management and recognizing what you can realistically accomplish. Leaving the extra time for the polish at the end is essential for a more accessible experience.
That said, this is an ambitious game and I had fun playing what you got together!
Got it to work - thanks for the instructions, I should have seen the two downloads.
Very nice 3D world you made there and was great to finally get that queen feed and start making larva and bees to do the work for me.
I know 3D is not easy so please take my next bit with that understanding:
The movements felt very awkward - especially in the bee hive, found it best to fly just above the ground and go back and forth as opposed to turning, honestly that goes for when collecting pollen too.
The camera would sometimes go through walls or get blocked, again 3D is not easy, but mastering that will produce a superior product.
Lastly as mentioned by others and yourself, with out the rain doesn't seem to fit the theme, but understand you were trying to get there and would have been a nice mechanic where the rain washing away the pollen.
Last one and this is a HUGE ask... but being able to see the other bees moving around doing the work would be awesome, sorry I know this is ridiculous given the time constraints.
I will end of real positive note: The music was great and I had fun playing and that is the most important thing
Thanks for playing!!
You're are spot on with everything! I tried for too long to work out the controls and get up and down flight to work with the mouse but could not spend more time on it. It's clunky thats sooo true!
The camera I'm not sure how to really fix, I used a springarm(I think) and generally it does pretty well, I probably need to adjust some of the settings there.
I REALLY wanted to have the other bees visible and doing their jobs but creating those AI and pathfinding with flying was too much of an undertaking but I really liked this project and might polish it up with those.
As already mentioned this game doesn't fit with the theme of the jam, but besides that you really implemented a bunch of interesting ideas and mechanics.
Some notes from my playtest:
haha what a game. I had my laughing. The abstract art has its charm! My bee somehow had the talent to always stick to the ground. the music was very funny!
Not sure if it's just me but I've tried to play it in two different browsers, and it just didn't finish loading, so I downloaded the windows EXE and had an error message when opening it.
I had the same problem and the windows download looked to only be the pack - maybe you can work with the helper.gg bot on discord to fix the files?
Download the PCK file too, make sure it's in the same folder. I forgot to embed it.

There are definitely a lot of ideas here, and it's impressive how much you were able to get done! Navigating the hive can be pretty hard though, as it seems like you kind of get stuck on floors and walls. I do think without any rain it doesn't super fit with the theme that much (Since it's Rain or Shrine lol), but regardless I had fun with it!
