I survived the night!

Fun game and interesting take on the theme, really liked the Pitch Black like feel.

It did take me two tries and game crashed once but overall good game, thanks for submitting

I enjoyed setting up the lights.

I had some challenges with the control scheme, but it was serviceable once I got the hang of it.

My only real beef is that the text was tiny when I maximized my game window.

well done!

The graphics and use of light were great.  It's always nice to see a 3D game in jam.  Well done!

This was a very compelling game, I felt like there definitely had to be something hiding out there in the darkness. I liked the graphic style and concepts a lot. I have two big critiques: I think some explanation of the controls would be good, as they were a little confusing. I think the text would be better to have a button to move to the next thing. The text didn't move to fast, but if I'm not paying attention, which often times I was not, I would miss it.

The textures reminded me of Dark Cloud.
Overall it was a nice concept, I was rather annoyed at those weird slugs that kept chasing me around and weren't allowing me to charge my battery.
The idea felt rather original to me, at least the way of extending cables and lighting up the place.
The camera control was a bit hard to handle, would have preferred something mouse controlled on that regard.

Pretty good job. I was surprised to see that this game hasn't received many ratings yet. It's a nice entry and one that's polished enough to deserve more ratings.

Wow, I enjoyed that game so much. The text from the radio (and character) goes a little quickly for me I wasn't always able to keep up. and by the time the enemies started spawning it was so frantic I was just ignoring it completely. I really enjoyed the idea, expanding ones base then needing to rush back to do up keep really makes it fun. I enjoy games that "force" a player to explore. The audio was fantastic it was just the perfect vide.

Controls are slow and clunky but perfect for the aesthetic. IMO. Apart from the text going a bit too quick for me, the only other critique I have is that the game was too short. I could have easily sunk and hour into trying to spread my "base" out as far as possible and find all the coffee I could see.

You also get extra points for having a working Mac download.

Thank you! I'm glad the focus on the aesthetics and audio worked!

I couldn't get it to run, I get an error saying that  the package file is missing.

I had screwed up windows and linux exports, sorry about that, I updated the downloads to include the pck files too.

Interesting game, but it was very daunting and confusing at first. Is there a way to heal HP? also, the dark creatures seem to chase even into the light and it's not apparent how to charge the flare gun. Confusing, but aesthetically pleasing

Developer

You heal by drinking the coffee you find, but it wasn't explained elsewhere, more flares can also be found in the environment.
