Game Description
Horror game where you must escape an unknown entity!

How does your game tie into the theme?
The game is very dark and light is needed to navigate. It also deters the monster

Nice work.  Monster reminds me of something straight outta Junji Ito's works.  I couldn't figure out how to perfectly escape the monster.  I guess the campfire is effective but the flash light isn't?  Maybe adding a quest guide would be cool.  Like maybe a person left notes on how to kill the monster and where to find the items.  GJ!

Great suggestion, if i continued to work on the game i would definately add this

Hey nice idea, for me the normal music is too high so I need to lower/increase the volume every time it changes, its was very scary when the music went silent, good job!

My audio was high. Those who have played know... Very fun game!

Really cool survival and (at least for me) strategic game, lots of posibilities, movements are very well done!

This one is a strong contender! An exploration game demanding that you listen to make sure you're safe. The jumpscare does its job as well!

What keeps it from being a top contender is that I'm not sure what necessarily allows you to win. The shotgun and shotgun shells enable the right click shooting, but if you can't see the monster, shooting doesn't help.

Key items are found: cabin north of start cabin, cabin south of start cabin, cabin east of south cabin (which has another key item in the woods a little above it) and the last is nearish the top right corner of the map

if you have all key items you can see and kill the monster

Fun game - great concept and artwork. The jumpscare was legit terrifying! Music and sound were very well done also!

Cool concept, but I found myself aimlessly roaming around not knowing what to do. At one point I couldn't even find the house! I loved how the music was dynamic and the idea that you have to listen to avoid what you can't see - that was cool!
