This is a survival game in which you sacrifice your cardboard companions in a vain attempt to ward away the darkness.
Unfortunately, when I attempted to place campfires in a formation that the game didn't like, I lost complete control of my character and could no longer play.
An unfortunate setback for a seasoned jam participant. Come back and try again in January!
Most likely the campfire was still selected, you could either deselect it or try another spot - but if that didn't fix it could be a new bug. Sorry for the problem, hopefully can make it better once jam concludes.
Cool premise, I don't think I've seen a game like this before. It would be cool if you could bind placing wreaths to a key so the player can just drop them as they walk.
Thanks for playing and glad you liked the premise. I thought about that idea but time limited me.
Wasn't expecting the Moonlight Sonata. Nice story.
Glad you liked the story and the music.
