Very interesting game. I liked the monkey and climbing the tree. I did have difficulty figuring out what to do. By the time I got the orange spell I had already used up all my bananas. 😅

I should've put a hard lock on upgrades haha, each upgrade only works once. The goal was to get to the top of the tree and escape with a scroll! Thank you for playing!

Nice game, a bit too long for a jam game but the audio and graphics went well. The environment could have head some more work around. the coll shapes a bit bigger, sometimes I fall through stuff was a bit annoying. Beside that great work!

Thank you for playing! The feedback is very nice. I'm captain overscope what did you expect XD

Haven't finished it yet, but I like what I saw so far! I didn't have any problems with jumping/landing on platforms. I appreciate that you offer free movement in the air, to avoid some of the difficulties with first-person platforming.

Thank you for giving the game a shot! I'm glad that you liked it. Levels 3 and 4 take a while to complete haha

Really cool idea, but the camera honestly made it a bit of a nightmare to play lol, please consider using a springarm.

I got softlocked on the third heist because I jumped over the barrier.

The UI for the enchanting seems pretty buggy, I kept getting overlapping menus and frequently got the mouse cursor stuck in the wrong mode.

Looking past those issues, the game seems really neat! I like the idea of a heist game where you have to craft tools to progress.

I did use a spring arm! I'll look into the camera for post jam, I agree camera control wasn't that good. Among other issues, I feel fall damage threshold was also too low haha. Thank you for playing! I realized afterwards the UI was buggy on the web for some reason, I have to look into that as well. I didn't get enough time to playtest unfortunately, but I will update it for post jam so stay tuned :)

Oh sorry lol, I assumed you hadn’t used a springarm since the camera behavior usually indicates that. My bad! I shouldn’t be making assumptions about other people’s code.

And yeah I also had issues on the web when not fullscreened. It’s like it was centering the cursor incorrectly, so the camera would constantly be turning to the right. Didn’t happen when fullscreen was enabled though, so I was still able to play. Could be an engine bug honestly.

Nice game.  I wish the camera could orbit above the player (over the shoulder) instead of just panning up and down behind the player.  It made the game more challenging than I think it should have been platformer-wise.  I like the concept and execution for the spells/buffs and gathering the ingredients.  Also, congrats for doing 3D.  Not many game jam games attempt that.  GJ

Thank you so much for playing, and yea the camera seems to be a big issue along with some UI problems. Glad you liked the concept!
