What a great little puzzle game! The art style is absolutely fantastic and felt incredibly polished. Once I figured out the windows I was able to play with a lot more confidence.
The isometric view with WASD keys is always going to be tough. I accidentally moved furniture by hitting the wrong key, but not sure what else you could have done there.
Really fantastic work!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)
Such a cute vampire! I love the models and sounds! It took me a while to get used to the move control and shadow taking effect, and gave me a lot of fun after that!
Thank you!
This is such a cute game! Both visually and the idea! I love the models. I will say it was a little unintuitive where the shadows would show up. It especially took me a while on level 7 to realize there was a window on the foreground wall. But it's impressive for the time limit!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the visuals. :)
Very cute and fun game and very original take on the theme. Good to see a puzzle game submission
Thanks! I enjoy puzzle games, so its always fun when I think of an idea for one.
Well made little game. Love the visual, reminds me of voxel renders of small cubical rooms, it's always very cute. The puzzle is nice, I enjoyed it. Very good job!
Thank you! I see a lot of people make these kind of little dioramas in Blender and I always wanted to make a game that looked like them.
Cool little game! It took me a while to get used to the controls but you made it fairly easy to restart if you mess up, the ui and user experience are really polished! Interesting puzzles for sure, it took me quite a bit to find the solution for a lot of them. Congrats!
Thank you! I wanted people to be able to restart quickly. I also would have liked to include some kind of undo but didn't have the time for it. Glad you enjoyed the game!
Very well done. I enjoyed the gameplay and the simplicity. I love how the puzzles turned out, 7 was a tough one at first. I love how many other Vampire themed puzzle games there were! Very on theme.
Thank you! :)
cool puzzles, I couldn't really tell what was going on in level 7 but you introduced the mechanics really well in the early levels
Nice one! Took me a moment to get the hang of, but I really enjoyed the puzzles and atmosphere. Super impressed with how polished it all is too, very cool!
Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed it. :)
Nice game. I solved the puzzles except level 7 very easily. That one took me very long xD The isometric view controls were a bit hard, I often accidently moved wrong. Maybe with mouse input to click on fields would have been easier. Art & Audio went very great. Good job on this!
I had thought about mouse input, but wasn't sure how pushing would work.
As I mentioned in another comment, level 7 was the only puzzle where the art/layout was determined before the puzzle since I wanted it to look like a real room my friends and family would recognize. The result was a bit of an awkward puzzle, but it was worth it for their reactions. 😅
Anyway, glad you enjoyed the game! Thank you for the kind word.
Very cute and nice aesthetic! I liked the cube perspective of the room as a choice too. Amazing scene transitions! And of course there is really good polishing, experience shows here clearly :P Kudos!
Thank you! Glad you liked the perspective too.
Very cute game! I love the bat-shadow transition. I had difficulties in getting used to the controls, but it was fun to complete all the puzzles. Cool game :D
Glad you were able to complete all the puzzles. I was quite happy with how the transition screen turned out! 🦇
Fun game. Nicely polished. Interesting puzzles. Well executed.
Thank you! :)
Graphisms are super cute and the idea is cool ! It was quite difficult to walk as I often mix up W/D and Q/S but it was a fun puzzle game anyway !
Thank you! :) Glad it was fun!
Very nice puzzle game. The bat transition was chef's kiss. Art and music were a great combination. You went way above and beyond for your asset crediting too! Well done!
Thanks! Even though I always look for CC0, I think its nice to list them. I think it helps clear up what parts of the game was actually created by me (typically all the programming and art), and what I did not create (the music and sound effects). Also if someone hears a sound effect they like, they can go find it. :)
This game is so cute, the graphics are great and the puzzles are fun :
Thank you! 😄
one of the best in this jam i really enjoyed it
Wow! Thank you so much!
Nice little polished puzzle game with charm. Graphics and music really fit together well. Perspective could be a little unclear at times, leading to some confusing shadows/controls. Great use of the wildcards too!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. :)
Cool concept with nice graphics and mechanics! Music and art were spot on! Movement was sometimes difficult to conceptualise with WASD, where W and D move you to the right and A and S to the left. Mabe shifting the perspective to front-facing or shifting the angle slightly could help with that. Really cool use of the sun and think inside the box wildcards, great job!
Thank you. The "think inside the box" and sun wildcards really were the inspiration for the game mechanic. I probably should have allowed the player to be able to rotate the camera. I just set that angle since I thought it was visually pleasing. 😅
Great game. The concept and the polish and the graphics... wow. Really nice. I think I agree with the comments below in that it could be a little confusing and I admit I resorted to trial and error on a few levels. However, great game and I'm really jealous of those graphics :)
Thank you! The graphics took up most of my time. Probably should have dedicated a little more time to the controls and clarity of the puzzles. Regardless, I am glad you enjoyed the game. :)
