Nice first game. Flamethrower in a dog kennel seems a bit overkill, but you can never be too careful with parasites.
I might have liked a slightly faster walking pace.
Yes, I was trying to balance a faster pace without making it ridiculous after you've upgraded it a few times.
Great concept, really liked it! I somehow soft locked the tutorial the first time by running out of gas. Really enjoyable nonetheless! Good job. :)
Really cool game, but I found myself at times flaming the dogs instead of curing them (oops). Button prompts when near wolves or parasites to tell you what to do could be an idea, and it would also make the tutorial less reading and more doing. Either way, it is a very impressive first entry, and I know how hard it is since this is also my first time making games xD! Cheers to more game making in the future :D
Hey this is a pretty cool idea for a game! Not that I necessarily consider myself a CHAD, but always happy to help a pup in need (while trying not to turn them into a hush puppy).
I ran into a few graphical errors while playing, it looks like you might need to adjust the z-index on some of the sprites. There were some times that dogs would be hidden behind the grass, so I couldn't beat the level because I kept running into them and didn't know which ones still needed to be cured. I also wasn't a big fan of the font, just because the H and K looked similar, so some words were hard to read.
Overall, though, I'd say it's a great first submission for this jam! Keep at it and I hope to see you in the next one!

Congratulations on entering this game! The concept looks kinda cool; but I really struggled to figure out what I was doing in the game? I kinda walked around and gathered potions for a while lol. From what I gathered, the wolves are sick and you're trying to heal them or something? Keep up the great work!
