I like the concept, controls, and visual style you have going here! It may be a bit basic but the you have a really solid base and I had a fun time figuring out the game.

Be proud of your accomplishments. It's a solid start. You've got a core game loop. Nice concept.

I win! Cute game and congrats on your first GWJ! I felt like I was playing Minecraft in the human body. 馃槄

I was really missing some punching sounds, in line with how the character animates.
Interesting concept having to balance the life of parasite and host. Well done.

Love the art style and concept! The balancing act between your health and the parasite health is very interesting. I think there are a lot of cool things that can be done with this idea! Also, googly eyes make everything better.

I really like this art style! It's very cohesive. I also like how to UI has animation to it. I realized pretty quickly what the game was about which is nice.

Cool concept! As others mentioned it was a little confusing the first time I died and the water was rare enough and, as far as I can tell, not indicated in any way, so it kind of felt like I was just making my best guess as to whether I could keep moving forward or if I had to turn back.

Regardless, nice job!

Yeah sorry about that, ran out of time unfortunately. I hope you had fun nonetheless. :D

I did! Honestly if I had to pick one thing to add it would be audio. Everything else was very reasonable for a game jam!

Veery nice entry. Such a fun game. There is one think that is missing for me and its the "end screen" like you loose or smth.

Damn I really hope you win, this game is AWESOME. The visual look is really cool and the concept is so creative. I really like the idea that you have to balance both your own and the host's health bars. Good job!

I like the exploring aspect of it. hard to find water position. At first was confuse should we go down or up? I was going down.

Having to balance between your health bars and the parasite's health bar is an interesting concept. The water deposits ended up feeling like the bonfires in a Souls game lol. There were a couple times where I was close to the brain but had to run back and was afraid my thirst meter would deplete before I could get back to my "bonfire" to replenish.

I was a bit confused about the win condition--at first I killed the host right away, but didn't immediately realize I'd lost. It would've helped to have a "you lose" screen or something to make this clear.

Great work, and congrats on finishing the jam.

I planned on adding a lose screen but I ran out of time unfortunately. Learnt a lot about time management and jam prep though :)

Very original idea and a great take on the theme.  Nice eye-catching thumbnail.

Congrats on finishing the jam and welcome to Godot Wild!Your game looks very nice and the 2D/3D mix made me think of Octopath Traveller

The graphics and theming in this game might be the best I've seen so far! Impressive game and work, and I can see how you could expand thee concept with different animals that introduce new mechanics and resources to juggle!

I enjoyed it! Always love to dig!
