What's This?, Give Me A Minute

Game Description
You are in control of a mining ship that is stranded after an accidental hyperspace jump outside of the Milky Way. In order to activate your Hyperdrive, you must act quickly, mine asteroids, upgrade your defenses, and survive until you can jump home again.

How does your game tie into the theme?
The setting of the game is intergalactic space - the void between stars that is far from home and safety. The player must act to return from the void to familiar galactic space.

I like how it starts - super dramatic! It made me really want to actually be able to move the ship, but that's just my inner space captain talking :p

I don't know why but it took me a while to actually figure out if I break the meteors I get money, which means I can buy things - perhaps making the UI more obvious on the side so it is easier to see and maybe a crew member reminds you after it all like "Don't forget, theirs some valuable materials on them meteors, so be sure to blast them sky high!" haha, but otherwise very fun.

I like this game, it kinda has the same approach that we used for our game

The ship design is great and I like that you have separate controls for the guns and the laser

I'm having really hard time trying to beat "the horde" though, maybe I'm just bad :D

Great job!

Well, i like the game idea a lot, But that's so sad there's no sound !

I truly hope you will add some, it's the only thing missing, oh and maybe preparing us for the huge wave by having more and more enemies, i fought them with only one gun x))

I would like to hear what you think about my game too if you have the time!

Thank you for the feedback!
I totally ran out of time for sound & music, but given how much value they add for relatively little effort, next time I'll prioritise them higher.
Glad to hear you made it through - ironically I did some rushed rebalancing at the 11th hour because initially it was too hard (and I'd rather players get through too easily than not at all).

I haven't played your game yet but I will later today when I have some time :)

Maybe I wasn't clear, but, With one gun I died, Like i got ships coming one by one, so I'm like, no need to have more weapons, and boom, an army of them x))

I was just saying, that waves may need to come bigger and bigger, not all in one go sloop you dead, know for the next game x))

Then I prioritize weapons for the next game :)
