Nice game! The controls feel pretty distinctive but also familiar enough, in a cool way, and it's quite satisfying to play!

Developer

Thanks for playing ! I'm glad you enjoyed !

Submitted

A truly professional development, from the sounds to the graphics. Great job.

Developer

Thanks a lot !

Very satisfying game play. It gets a bit repetitive after some time, weapon upgrades and more variability would be great for an after jam extension. Awesome graphics, worked really well in HTML5, too.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, I'll be sure to make the game feel better :)

I'm glad to have checked this out! I liked your artwork and the control screen especially. I'd love to jump in a call and look at your menus. Awesome job with this project

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing, and yeah, maybe more on Monday, but I'll schedule time to make a read me file and upgrade it a bit !

Visuals are great, had to spend some time getting used to the controls but still had a lot of fun.

Black hole physics is pretty sick and also special points for the menu :D

Great job, congrats!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot for playing ! I'll be sure to check your game too !

This is great, it feels like a flashgame I would've played for hours when I was a kid. The movement is great I like how you slightly move when you rotate. The bullets orbiting around the black holes adds a nice bit of depth to the gameplay. And the inclusion of such a well built options menu is praise worthy. Honestly the only thing this game is missing is a good soundtrack.

Developer

Thanks ! That's a shame you didn't like the music in there ! Would  you have needed something more dynamic ?

Submitted(+1)

I wouldn't say I disliked it, the subtle background music was a good addition. I think some upbeat songs might've fit a little better. But you'd probably need a few so they don't get jarring when replaying the difficult levels over and over.

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks. I will keep that in mind

I liked the visuals of this a lot, with some more polish they could look even greater. The controls felt a tadbit awkward - maybe doing something where you aim with the mouse pointer could feel more natural. Great job!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback :)

Lot's of cool VFX in this one. I liked the weapon fire animation in particular, it felt satisfying.

There were a lot of levels to play through, which was nice. It would be cool to include a bigger sense of progression as you play through them.

I enjoyed the physics impact of weapon hits, it felt really good to knock enemies into black holes.

Developer

Thanks a lot ! That's true that it needs a sense of progression, do you have any ideas on how ?

Submitted

I think either weapon upgrades or enemy variety would be a good place to start.

Submitted(+1)

Good game, blackholes added a nice bit of complexity to the maps. It did feel later on though that most of the dammage done to the enemies was friendly fire reducing a bit of the difficulty progression.

Developer

Yes, there's a lot of friendly fire, I thought it would lead to a better experience !

It fits the theme well, I'd say shooting from 2 different guns in constant switching is a nice mechanic since you drag enemies when you hit them so you have to move accordingly to follow your hit, It seems fun but it wasn't very challanging,

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks a lot for taking the time to play it !

I'll be sure to add more challenge :)

Submitted(+1)

this was really fun! keep developing it

Developer

Thanks ! Of course I'm staying in this project !

Submitted(+1)

Well done.

I had fun with this one.  I had a weird glitch where it would only let me turn one way, when I took focus away from the window to check the controls and then went back it worked fine... so I don't think it was an issue with the game!  Was much easier once I could turn.

Developer

I put the initial controls in qwerty so it fits for every English, but the key codes are not physical and only 'Latin', so if you are on azerty, maybe switch your keyboard with 'ctrl + alt' or rebind the controls into the control menu :)

I like this one. The Ship design is pretty cool and the void affecting you your enemies and bullets is nice. I think the game can be enhanced a lot with some kind of upgrade system and a bit more enemy variety but I understand that the time in a jam is limited. All in all good job.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, I'll make sure to add some kind of stuff like that !

Submitted(+1)

This game was a blast! It thought i wasn't going to win there for a minute (that last level with the BIG black hole is really great). I've played a bunch of submissions this week and this one was at the top for fun value. Great backgrounds, appropriate audio, on theme. I think the only thing it was missing was a powerup! Rapid fire, a AoE missile/bomb, or a stead stream laser or something.

Really great work though, very fun!

Developer(+1)

Yes I prioritized polishing things on top of creating new ones, But i wanted add a boost to speed up the ship, and also some kind of weapons ! That will be great stuff to add in the future !

Submitted(+1)

Really solid game! The gun sounds are very satisfying. The gameplay is fun although the controls are a bit awkward, but once you get used to it, it plays alright!

Developer

I'm relieved you liked it !

Submitted(+1)

Wow! This looks absolutely fantastic!

I had to get used to the controls :D

But a really great post!!!

Developer

Thanks!

This is one of the most fun games I played this jam!

Developer

Thanks a lot !

Submitted(+1)

Fun game! i like the visuals and sound, controls feel a little bit awkward but other than that its a solid game well done

Developer(+1)

Thanks you for your feedback !

Like the bumper car feel to this game, and the aesthetics. I see a lot of setting options so great accessibility there!

The control scheme threw me off a bit, as im more used to rotation on the character's centre pivot. Nice touch on the dual guns and independent ammo tracking, added challenge to aiming.

Developer

I'm glad to hear you liked it !

Accessibility 5/5, Fun 5/5, difficulty progression 5/5. Fun game, love the design. You clearly put alot of effort in and it shows. Hope to see more from you in future jam!

Developer

I want to update it, I'm waiting for the main team but they got to bed, I will push an update where enemies wil not stop shooting !

Developer

Hey, I've fixed the issue with the enemies if you'd like to test it again !
