VERY satisfying to throw all the stuff down the hole, great work! Visuals and sounds are amazing, everything feels very polished
Other have mentioned already that the ability to bring everything to the hole in advance kinda kills all the challenge, but otherwise this is a super cool game!
Great submission, congrats!
Wow this looks very polished, very good looking sprites and animations, and the game itself is fun to play and pretty interesting
Maybe add some coyote time as I kept falling off the platforms, and space for jump as others were saying
Overall super impressive game, great job & congrats!
Also special points for the camera breaking bat
I liked the double jump mechanic, and the ability to dash too
overall looks pretty complete, just needs some sounds and it's already a solid game
I'd definitely agree with others that it would benefit from some coyote time, especially given that you only have to slip once and the game is over
Great job!
Great take on the theme and very solid implementation, visuals are tight, beautiful cover logo and epic soundtrack
The controls were giving me a hard time sometimes, and also the hitboxes on those spikes are pretty unforgiving, no big deal though
I think it would be nice to have to complete the same level with different contracts, I think now each level is specific to a certain contract?
Overall very impressive submission, great job!
Very well executed, great music and synced up with the gameplay too!
The idea is super original and fits the theme very well
I think it would be great to have some progression over the time, like other more complex types of stuff flying at you
Also I was trying to interact with the flying things because there was an "Interact" key mapped in the controls but I don't think that was an option :)
Overall very cool and atmospheric entry, 10 flying toilets out of 10!
Just kidding, I completed the game, love the puzzles and the art style, and the soundtrack is pretty catchy
I also had the little guy stuck in the tunnel problem
Wait let me rephrase this
I also encountered the bug in the very first location that other people were talking about
Overall great submission, congrats!
Amazing concept, at first I thought this was just another take on the good old floor inversion mechanic, but combining it with level-modifying grenades has turned it into a new game completely!
The implementation is also very solid, feels like a complete game. Nice style and character animation. Special points for the playable menu :D
Great submission!
Thank you for such a detailed review, we'll take everything you said into consideration if we continue working on this
- on HP bars I agree that there should definitely be some kind of representation of the remaining HP, especially when it's low
- regarding the speed scale, I also agree that it feels too idle between the opportunities to add modules, something has to be done about that
- SFX in general are obviously lacking at the moment, luckily this isn't hard to fix
- as for the shop, at the moment it costs 5 crystals up front to open the shop menu, and then the modules themselves are free. This was a cheap way for us to save some development time. So the shop isn't available when you're below 5 crystals.
- the bar at the top left is actually an XP bar, not the best font choice on our part :D
Took me some time to figure out I was supposed to press tab in the beginning, but afterwards I was very impressed by the graphics, the underwater world looks beautiful and the chill exploring/picture taking vibe suits it very well
I think if you had some screenshots on the submission page I would have discovered your game way earler :D
Great job
Thank you so much for your review! Our plan for the stationary guns was to have other modules that would modify and redirect projectiles, but we ran out of time before we added those
As for enemies spawning inside the platform, this was not supposed to happen, I think we have a bug somewhere :D
Thank you for playing and I'm still trying to improve my best temp in your game
This is great, feels very polished! Great interpretation of the theme, hilarious references ("you are freed"), beautiful cover art, amazing glitch effects, banger soundtrack
Having to hold the attack button seems a little redundant, I think it might as well just fire continiously?
I think this game can be expanded easily, especially with the programming/computer topic being basically an unlimited supply of ideas for levels and enemies, e.g. a "video memory" level or "stacks" and "arrays" of enemies.
The difficulty ramps up fairly quickly, I'm barely reaching temp 80 for now but I'll definitely be playing more
Overall great job, love this entry!
