This is your FIRST GAME and you've not only put in the volume controls but also the sensitivity slider, both things that are so often lacking? THANK YOU!  I love that you put in multiple endings (I had to hold off on posting this comment until I managed to get 3/3, at last I did!), and the story had me really wanting to see the next step.

It'd be nice to have a key bind to let us advance the dialog, when you're hunting for those other endings its a little frustrating waiting for the dialog to play out at its own pace again, but this is a pretty minor nitpick.  I love how you implemented the water, and making the loch ness monster relatively formless rather than heavily textured actually helps add to the creep-factor when it pops up unexpectedly!

(Minor bug - the Main Menu button on the 3/3 ending screen didn't send me back to the main menu. Wasn't a big issue for me since that was me finally getting the last one, just FYI)

Yeah, the dialogue thing was a problem for me. Every time I would try to test on of the endings i had to watch the painfully long dialogue. I would usually just speed it up lol. I just found something that worked and ran with it, but moving at your own pace would've been nice. Definitely something to consider in later projects.

And yes, I did notice that the last ending's button didn't work, buuut I REALLY didn't feel like fixing it. It felt like every time I fixed a bug a new one would occur haha. I've always wanted to make games and a felt that this jam would help me do just that. I often give up or just start new project because I get burnt out or have a new idea. Thanks for noticing my setting menu, it took me FOREVER to figure out. I had to watch an unreasonable amount of tutorials. Thanks for playing, I'm so glad you liked it!

Wow, very nice! I love the animated water lol, it's so simple but so effective. Also the man on the boat was a bigger jumpscare than the monster haha

A fun little story though, with a nice aesthetic. Any tips on how to get the other endings?? I also got ending 2/3 and tried to find other things I could do but no luck.

Of course! To get the other ending you simply either, grab the life ring before jumping of the boat or sink with the boat. Thanks for playing!

Oh of course, that makes sense! Thanks, I'll have to replay it tonight

Great game! Felt really polished despite it being short. I got ending 2/3 :)

If I had to nit-pick I'd say put the checkpoint after the dialogue with the boat guy just to make it easier to explore what the other endings are.

Other than that, amazing work!

Developer

Yeah, that was a problem i experienced but it was already so late in the jam and.. idk how to make checkpoints lol. That's something I will make sure to do in my later projects. I'm glad you enjoyed!
