I loved it! Had a smile on my face the whole time, as someone who also made all the sounds for my entry with mic+mouth. :)
Even being so simple, a tutorial or some instructions about the goal would have done wonders.
Glad I didn't miss this little gem.
Nice soundtrack
86! So simple and still a lot in it, excellent base to build from!
Short and cute game with funny sfx :)
My wife absolutely loved it!
The game was short and simple, and after I figured out the gameplay loop it did become quite fun. I had a few issues however. The roar mechanic was very inconsistent, like it didn't feel like I controlled it at all, more like it just went off randomly. The movement is a bit janky, but it didn't really impact the overall experience. Also I didn't really see the theme of the jam implemented in the game at all. I loved the sound effects though, especially that Ride of the Valkyries cover at the end xD.
I can see potential here, but right now the game needs some tweaks to get it rolling. Still, it's a decent submission!
Thanks.
Roar is supposed to be triggered automatically after 5 seconds of bearhugger blocking bear. But it is somehow glitchy, and it's triggered earlier sometimes, so it looks random sometimes.
I postponed theme implementation to the end, hoping that "muse will send me a message" but it didn't happen after all ;-D.
