Thanks for letting us know - we'll check out the bug. Glad you enjoyed the game, we had fun putting it together!

Thank you - glad you enjoyed playing it! You can access the verse edit screen by clicking on the quill and ink pot icon in the main screen, and from there drop verses into the different books. The tutorial clues should disappear once you take that action and then also explain more on what to do. Did the text not go away when right clicking? - thanks for letting us know!

Thanks for your kind words - glad you enjoyed the puzzles!

Thanks for the feedback - some good points to keep in mind if we decide to develop it further. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for playing!

Yeah, the books are a known issue, the easiest is to go back and forth to the verse scene for now, sorry about that! The collisions were indeed intended, we just needed more time to implement better. Thanks for your kind words and for playing!

If only there were more hours in a day! Thanks for playing!

I love the cutscene art, story and music so far and I'd like to play it properly as I'm a big fan of cooking games, but I'm stuck on trying to pick up the bowl and get started, Should it be LMB to change the view/aim so that I can interact with the bowl to pick it up?

A nice interpretation of the theme, the art is super cute, and I liked the music as well as learning about the Native American creation myths. Was there a way to put out the fires by delivering rain? If so I couldn't get it to work, and my world kept getting destroyed by fire. :( But I had fun trying to catch the rain and deliver it to my vine. I would have loved a bit more of a heads up of where the next rain drop was coming from as I found it pretty challenging to catch them, but maybe that was just me! Good job overall!

Cool idea and original story! Text was very slow initially but when I went out of fullscreen it was faster? Good fitting music, great work!

Nice one! Loved the sounds and atmosphere!

Glad you enjoyed it! That last medallion is a little tricky do find. ;) Thanks for the feedback - we'll definitely keep that in mind!

Thank you - glad you liked it!

Thanks very much!

Thank you! Hope you enjoyed the trip down memory lane. :)

Thanks so much - yes we really tried to come up with something unique, so we're glad that came across and was fun to play! Thanks also for the feedback around collisions and death planes, these are good points.

Thanks - glad you liked it!

Thank you! Yes the fox medallion is one of the trickier ones to find. ;)

Thanks so much - glad you liked it!

Thanks for your feedback and glad you enjoyed it overall! We could definitely work on the mechanics more - we were experimenting with bone 2d animations which had a few challenges in implementation, though you can move side to side while climbing if you also hit space. ;) That's a shame it was laggy - were you playing the web version?

Thank you so much - glad you liked it!

Thank you - glad you enjoyed it! Thanks also for for letting us know about the bug.

Thank you - glad you liked it, and thanks for the feedback!

Thank you for your kind words and feedback - glad you liked it!

Thanks - glad you liked it!

Now click on the book icon, where the mouse cursor is on the right, so you can explore the book. Have fun!

Thanks for letting us know, though we can't seem to replicate the bug. Did you play the webversion, it might have lagged a bit there? Would it be possible to send a screenshot? We have a known bug in the book scene but the verses should be working.  We agree it would be good to have a collider for dying in the air -  we had a few ideas for this but it wasn't feasible to implement everything within the game jam timeframe. The carpet medallion is not the only one that has that. Sorry if you found the puzzles too difficult, we did try to make it fairly challenging within the time frame. Thanks for trying our game!

Thanks for the feedback. We are a three person team that made this game in 9 days, we are aware it is not optimal but it's always a great opportunity to learn. Can you explain which bug with the verses you encounter?  We made it so of you rightclick the verses go out of the books quicker to save time, is that it? The adventurer's hitbox is indeed weird, we wanted to experiment with the skeleton2D node, which does not have a flip_h value, which was a good learning experience. The medallion in the magic carpet zone you can get, we just didn't want you to get it from above, maybe try a different verse in the book (which we tried to make the main mechanic, so that is important). Same goes for the Rapunzel medal, remember here that actions have consequences and you will be able to get this one with a bit of experimentation. We are sorry you were not able to get all the medals and feel you have played a repetitive and broken game, we tried to do the best we could in the time given.

I really liked the mix between farming simulator and folklore theme, as well as the idea of continuity from generation to generation. A well made game and nice graphics.

Cool idea! I definitely think this has potential to be expanded into a full game. If you do expand it I would consider a more complex mechanism for gathering pasta. I was also unsure about the value of upgrading my pasta power as I seemed to kill the enemies with one shot on minimal power anyway? But fun and strangely addictive!

Pressing F to destroy the wood did not do anything and I got stuck there. I assume more powers were to come? Great submission for your first game!

Wow - so impressive to have made such a complete game, and with online multiplayer too! I liked the graphics and music and it was fun to play. I could've used some kind of minimap as I kept getting lost and couldn't find my brewery lol. But I enjoyed collecting ingredients and discovering the different recipes - great job!

Wow! Wow! The first time I played I could not understand as my gnome picked up a log and then could not return it as I clicked on different places. Figured it out because of the comments! Controls would need some improvements but overall a nice submission, well done! Gnomes are folklore! Wow!

Cool platformer, as said before it gets a bit difficult early on, but great submission for a gamejam! Well done

A lot of content, well done! After I got a key I did not know where to go and my quests list disappeared. It would be good to keep using this to give some hints on what to do or where to go? The puzzle to get in the cave was well done, with a small hint to when you get stuck. Long live the Capibara!

There seem to be too many wolves and I am not sure what I can do against them. I like the implementation of the stories, congratulations on your submission! Great job

Loved the simplicity of the art, well done. Could not figure out where to get off the turtles, it could be a bit clearer which part you should take (or at least where you can not go). Overall, a great first time submission (although wrongly submitted), well done!

This was a really cool experience. Great use of art and music and a cool story!

The webversion seems a bit slow, might be my internet but I am not able to play it unfortunately.

Very fun complete game, cool music. The traps are a good addition as you get further, although they are hard to avoid when you are already in the air after a rescue. Great submission!

What a suspense! Great integration of the sounds on the animations. Well done!
