Really clever idea and well executed, very satisfying to play! I also like the interpretation of the theme around alchemy as transformation. Beautiful art and animations, and the music and SFX are also well done. Does the tone on the land SFX change depending on the number of stars collected during the jump? If you wanted to expand it further, I think a gentle swaying effect on the flowers would make this even better. I think there are a lot of people experiencing anxiety or stress who will appreciate this – well done and thank you!

It always does :)

I hoped these rumors about dryads were not true but what can you do. Really great entry for a first jam, The crossbow and axe animations were really satisfying !The music and sound effects also fitted well together. I did not feel the camp was a very safe space in the end ;). Really great job, very enjoyable!

Got 108. Took me a while to figure out I could move the frogs away from the water, which might have saved me in the end, did not expect that. Well done! Interesting loop setting up your farm.

I was going quite well until I forgot to buy rockets :) Feedback would be to make the buttons cover the complete texture. Great little game for a first entry! Well done!

There is a lot to do in this game. I did run into some issues though. When the plutonium comes out, and you press 'e' again you will be stuck fishing for a while until and time keeps ticking. When I collected the 2 items (and newspaper confirmed all ingredients were picked up) and went to the house to craft nothing happened and I ran out of time. Lots of creativity in this!

Thank you - great to here the progression and competition systems are working well! If you've ever been to northern Australia you'll know that cane toads truly are little bastards!

Thank you so much for playing!

Thank you so much for playing our game and your kind words! Means a lot!

130 is a massive score, well done! To find out the meaning of the title, you should not have stopped ;) Just goofing around, glad you like the game!

Cool and simple puzzle game! It took me a while to figure out the second (which I guess is a good thing!) and the last board I felt I was just guessing though as you can't see what is happening. Nice art!

86! So simple and still a lot in it, excellent base to build from!

How many games did you guys made? Well done in the limited timeframe! I felt the gun controls not always responding but that might have been the webversion, had a lot of fun with the other ones! Well done!

Great entry and original concept to the theme! I did get stuck after I accidentally made my pumpkins explode and then had no more seeds. Other then that, a very solid base and a job well done!

We completely agree, we are so used to the controls from other games. Different controls will always take time to get used to and we are so happy to hear you did that for our game! Thanks you so much for your words!

A simple and fun little game! Although the game is pretty intuitive, it would still be good to have some kind of tutorial or explanation in the description. But great job overall!

Very clever! I enjoyed the puzzles, what a well thought-out game. Nice clean graphics too.

This is a great concept, and can be easily worked out more as a cosy relaxing game. Maybe have a topdown view where you can trim weeds for example?

Nice entry, so much better then just laying on your back after eating flies :P. In all seriousness, a great little game, with a unique twist. Loved the sound effects!

New Record! And new technique! The small stomach is our favorite! Thanks for playing!

No need to apologise! This happens with game jams, nothing ever goes as plans for us. It is good to try things out!

Excellent execution of the team! A bit too difficult as other's say but it is always difficult to find the right balance, I wasn't able to make of the top jumps in level2? Cool music, overall great first entry!

I see someone found our debugging tools! We left them in on purpose. Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks you so much for your kind words! The theme and game came up in a brainstorm session about the unforeseen consequences. We thought of several different animals but decided on the cane toad in the end, for its clear reputation and number one invasive species. One of our team members is from Australia, the other two from different parts of the world! You are definitely correct about the highlighting, it would be a relatively easy thing!

Really interesting concept, well executed and fun to play. The graphics were super cool and I liked the sound too - well done!

I never understood the appeal of button clickers... until now. Actually super entertaining and clever, and the art and audio perfectly fitted the game.

What a great game! Cool idea and nice puzzles. Liked the interactive main menu as well!

63 is the winner of the comments at this moment! Well done, thanks for your kind words

I guess we used space because you have to hold it and then got used to it but I guess it could have easily been the opposite. Thanks for the suggestion and playing our game!

Nice score - well done! Yes we were thinking this could be a cool battle royale multiplayer game... thanks for your kind words!

The frog can move left and right with the arrows or A/D, but only while jumping. We suggest getting a more colorful frog as you will be the only one with that color. Depending on how far you get, it does get difficult to keep track of yourself :) Thanks for the feedback, and thanks for playing!

Thanks for the feedback and glad you liked the game!

Thank you! Yeah total unexpected chaos was the vibe we were going for. :) The upgrades last forever once you have them - enjoy!

Thanks for the feedback - we were going for a bit of a different jumping feel, but that's good to know. Glad you liked the game!

Thanks so much for the feedback, we worked a lot with the difficulty level, so that's good to hear! We were thinking of the theme in terms of you start with the straight-forward goal of catching flies, but the more successful you are this has the unintended consequence of more toads been created (they should not sleep their back ;)), which makes it harder and harder for you to actually catch flies. Plus the bigger picture unintended consequences of introducing invasive species. We wanted to add seasons to the game which would have been cool if we'd had more time, so we had to be content with just two of the wild card in the end. Thanks again for playing and glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks so much - glad you enjoyed the game!

Thanks for the feedback! We deliberately made the jumping mechanic a bit different, and it can take some getting used to.  If you have time, would love you feedback on whether you experience the same on the download version. Thanks for playing!

Thanks so much for the comment - we tried to make it challenging but still fun. Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Yes survival can be tough - hope you enjoyed the ride!
