Good concept! Unfortunately, I had to read the comments to understand how to play. Don't forget to leave instructions somewhere or even make a tutorial if you can! This will help a lot!
Other than that, the visuals are decent and fun :)

The visuals are great. A little introduction on what to do and how to, as well as a menu would be very helpful, since I needed to refresh the website once I went game over. With a bit more polishing and gameplay clarification, this might be a solid and fun little game, great work!

Very cute art, but not quite sure where the Tower theme is or what I'm meant to do other than avoid for a bit. I'm guessing the little ball at the bottom was randomly shooting at the birds, but sometimes the little projectiles would just appear from off-screen as well?

Anyway, a little confusing, but the art and animations are great!

really cute! i love how this looks. don't know how it fits the "tower" theme, though? would have loved a more complete concept, but good job nonetheless! consider trying my game as well! thanks!

Loved the visuals! Just wish there was some sound effects or even visual feedback when player gets hit, but I understand that you didn't get time to add it :)

Also, I don't know if there's one, but a "restart" button would be helpful, I needed to restart the page to try again

Thanks RickZinho!

I really had very few time and invest it on the art (my favorite part). Next time will do better!

A menu screen and restart button should not be that hard :-P (also missing the dead animation :-( )

I am curious if I had a window crop issue. I couldn't figure out what to do, or see a character move around. Would benefit from a tutorial, or explanation in the game maybe.

Hi Chippper!

You're right, minimal instructions would help 😅

But controls are very basic, just arrow keys to move.

I've tries it in a couple of displays and had no issues with windows size or similar. 🤔

Lovely art style and feel! I believe the game would benefit from some SFX, especially when you're getting hit, but I understand not finding the time to implement them as a solo dev 🙏

Thanks a lot mari!

Absolutely! I had some trouble with the player collisions (you'll notice it does not collide with the trees...).

I planned some "comic-ish" FX kinda "slam!" "kaboom!" and so...but no time  ( - :

Thanks a lot!

In case it's not clear enough.

This game is clearly influenced by the charming visuals of "The Plucky Squire". What an awesome game!!
