The atmosphere in the dungeon is really chilling. a few times I died of curiosity. 3d dungeon looks fantastic. and the glint of the flashlight shines in the eyes. maybe you could increase the tension by not having the flashlight on all the time. and I didn't know, but could the black unknown beast be chased away with a lamp? contols was of high quality.
I really liked the atmosphere of the game and the style, at first it can be a little frustrating controlling the character, but you get used to it and control it better.
good job! :D
The style and mood are great and very captivating! I also like the slippery movement, which felt confusing at first, but fun when you get used to it. It was pretty hard to find a way back after you moved too far away though, so I've got lost most of the time :) Great submission!
What are those enemies by the way? Look like eels? :)
I liked this. Pretty creepy and it was fun to test out what all the different things were. I saw the landmine, thought "that looks like a landmine" and then promptly blew myself up. Very fun. I did get a bad generation where there was only one way out of the room and there was a hanging enemy guy that I couldn't see how to get past. Otherwise lots of fun.
Yeah, there's not much I can do about bad RNG. Although, you can sneak path the hanging enemies by moving slowly past them (they won't see you and won't attack). I don't blame you for not knowing that though- it isn't stated or taught anywhere.
oh man I'll have to give that a shot! thanks for the tip
The artstyle was really charming and the character movement is really fun as you can go very fast due to the ice. Really impressive work, keep it on.
This was a really impressive game with a wonderful sense of atmosphere. There was good tension, especially with the sense of helplessness when you need to get away from whatever is lurking out there and you don't have much traction on the ice. I managed to get 3 runs in so far, but it is definitely something I can see myself coming back to. Great work!
