Hey man, nice work making this game, did you make the music yourself?

Like some of the other comments have said, I think for this type of game you have to really lean into something happening on the beats of the music (either when they spawn or when you have to erase them) to make it feel satisfying.

Overall I think it is a nice concept, well done 😊

YES, i made the music myself

Good concept--a few suggestions to make it more enjoyable:

-The lag in the eraser movement seems unnecessary and feels a little sluggish, so I would remove that or make it bit less.

-Dying after one missed note seems a bit unfair--I'd give 3 lives or something.

-Agree with the other comments about rhythm game: if you can find a way to sync the falling notes with the beat, that would make more sense

-Add some sound /visual effects for when you capture / erase a note successfully

Developer

thanks for the suggestions

Honestly i was expecting something more like a rhythm game and felt a little disapoint that the note wasn't on beat. It's a nice idea to erase the beat/partition,  but i think you need to rework the idea a bit to make it more enjoyable.

i don't really play casual games so the may be vary misleading, all i was thinking at that time  was just the theme,

  thanks for the suggestion btw

I don't exactly see what you were going for... its not much of a rhythm game and more of a catching game with music.
