  • A very nice use of SoftBody - and I believe messing with the normal channel to make the steaming look very realistic.
  • Very neat concept, definitely matched the theme perfectly. I did miss a reposition feature, the cloth was hanging awfully close to a chair that was in the way. I would add more garments to clean, not just always a square, and especially with the white cloth, I was expecting it to burn/get damaged if I kept the steam in one place too long. All in all, I liked it a lot :)

Extremely cool game. I love the cloth and how the steam interacted with it! Very novel and creative idea. Thanks for sharing the git repo!

Now this is unique, and strangely relaxing!
Now I want to test cloth simulation. ;)

Developer

It's actually pretty easy to implement in Godot, check out the SoftBody3D node.

Very cute and simple game, could've definitely used the hint to show where I still needed to iron but it was nice nonetheless!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing. If you press X or A the game will show the incomplete part, I should have made it more obvious.

Oh no yeah I knew of the hint because I saw the video and I used it, just that yeah could've been told ingame

Amazingly simple concept, although, I'm sure it wasn't simple at all to implement. :-) Looked and felt really polished. I loved the cloth physics and wrinkles disappearing.

I was pretty terrible at it, though.  I only did two items, and it felt like it took me forever (which I guess simulates using a really steamer :-))

Definitely a cool entry, if it wasn't for watching the video I wouldn't have known there was a button to show where I still needed to steam. That could have used a hint in game.

I love the way the cloth moves and how satisfying is to remove the wrinkles!

A very well-polished demo; the gun looks and behaves perfectly. The little room is cute. I reached ~80% and had trouble getting farther.

I love the idea and implementation, but unfortunately it quickly gets boring. Still really good for 15 minutes in between

Developer(+1)

I had the idea of requiring the user to manage the temperature and pressure, to provide a more dynamic/challenging gameplay. But I didn't have time for it.

10/10 would steam again. Very satisfying. Great work :)
