GAMEPLAY
Enjoyable to play, though the unconventional controls sometimes caused issues with my fingers for the button and mouse placement inside the window. It was fun to see how far I could progress. Good that there was some tutorial for the controls.

ART STYLE / VISUALS
The art style was cute, though the cutscenes were mostly blurry for me, which detracted a bit from the visual experience, except in the death scenes I could see what it represented. Plus nice little animations and VFX

AUDIO / SOUND DESIGN
The background music and sound effects added positively to the game's atmosphere.

INNOVATION
The game was not particularly innovative in terms of gameplay or mechanics.

THEME
The theme of isolation was only lightly touched upon.

Overall a good job and game. Keep it going đź’Ş

Pretty cool game and I'm a big fan of the artstyle! Having to shoot low and up were interesting mechanics that I could see further explored with levels if the game were longer. I wasn't exactly sure what was happening in the pixelated videos early on though, and there was a time when the screen wouldn't move to the next room because I had to jump on top of something out of view of the current screen. I actually didn't mind the ladder transitions, reminded me of the original Resident Evil with their door animations haha, and the overall vibe of the game was cool!

The gameplay was pretty rich for a platformer of this type but the controls felt quite unconventional for me, so it wasn't very easy to get used to. The pixelated videos between levels and on the death screen feel very weird! not necessarily in a bad way. I guess it gives a unique feel to the game. Also, in the first part, the background elements are not supposed to move like this when the character moves! I know it's supposed to be parallax effect but the background should only move relative to the position of the camera, not the character.

Played and rated!

The art style and sound are pretty nice! The gameplay is complex and interesting enough, and I really liked the tutorial :)

The negative point for me is the lift when moving to a new scene, I felt it was very slow when I retried the game. The cutscenes were a bit long too, would have like to be able to skip the end cutscene.

Well done :)

The environment is very eerie, creepy vibes.

Don’t think I understood either of the easter eggy things I found, but it was a cool blend of various things. First cutscene just looked like a buggy brick wall for most of if though? Wasn’t sure what was happening Wish the ladder climbing was about 20x faster.

would’ve loved to see more puzzles and gameplay and stuff involving the zombies and shooting, but what’s there is fun and a great start!

Nice game, I dont have much feeddback besides the fact that I would like to play it fullscreen especially as it requires mouse inputs and I accidentally clicked out of the window sometimes, especially on the more tense parts but thats not a big deal. I like the videos you used and the ladder parts to ramp up the tension.
