Thank you for playing!

Yes that could be something I can add, thanks for the feedback :)

Thank you for your feedback, really happy that you enjoyed the overall mood we managed to create 😊

Thank you, happy to hear that you enjoyed playing :)

I really liked the concept and it was fun to understand the powers we have and use them.
The graphics and polish of the game could use improvements on the other hand.
Good job making this creative game :)

I liked the mood of the game, it's pretty relaxing with the audio and sounds.
The controls to rotate the planet felt nice. The visual indicator for interactables is a good help.

Nice small game, I really enjoyed the music and sound effects.
The gameplay and goal felt a little unique.
I ran into a bug where I could not get the gates to open after trying multiple times, but overall I liked the vibe of the game :)

Thank you for playing :)
Good points, I'll take notes and improve on those aspects. Appreciate your feedback.
It's not yet intuitive in the game but to use the fireworks you can open your inventory with B, and double click on it to use it.

I liked the concept, it did create the isolation feeling pretty well.

The other aspects of it were lacking I though, didn't really understand how to hide and it would have been nice to have content inside. I think it could be a good isolation vibe game with a story unfolding through some FPS content.

The files you provided are not properly packaged I believe, you might want to look at how to export the game files for upload for your next games.

Well done making this game!

The forest section with the compass was nice! Having the ui telling us we can use the flashlight was very useful. The compass helped navigate to the bunker without frustration which I appreciated. The ambient overall was spooky.

In the bunker I didn't really understand how hiding works as I hid but still died. I liked the Fnaf kind of vibe in the bunker where you have to look around though. At first I thought we could enter the tunnel to try escaping the monster that appears, that was my first idea when playing.

Overall nice small game, the art and vibe were interesting enough but the gameplay was pretty confusing and could be improved.
Well done for this game jam :)

Thank you for playing! Happy to hear the positive feedback 😄

Glad you enjoyed the art and audio our team made :)
I will try to work more on difficulty and design for a future update!

Thank you for playing, and really appreciate your feedback 😄

I will try to improve the gameplay in the next update!

(1 edit)

So with the browser version if nothing is visible when pressing Run game, then we need to open fullscreen mode so it can appear. You can enable a fullscreen button on the itch io settings.

When I start the game I had to press Escape two times to see the cursor on the browser, I believe by default the game locks the cursor in the code, so the bug might be coming from there.

I think in one try I pressed Ctrl and it made me see the game camera properly as well, but not too sure.

I hope this helps you find the problem!

Overall liked the design of the game, it was an interesting camera angle and gameplay progressively got harder.

The dialogue audio bothered me, as there's only 1 sound looping, and I would have liked to have E to finish the sentence instead of skipping so I could read without waiting. The game audio could be improved in some ways.
When getting to the boss, the controls were still frozen so it was not playable which is unfortunate.
One big improvement I see is having a sort of visual cursor at your mouse position where you're aiming, it would make aiming much more intuitive and fun. I didn't know where I was aiming at without having to look back at my character.

Well done for this game, some improvements to make the game more enjoyable but it was an interesting concept and experience 😄

Thanks for playing and for your feedback!

In Unity I've made tooling to visually see the direction of the tp force for ease of design, didn't really think about making it visible in game though, thanks for the idea 😄

I liked the overall theme and asthetics of the game. I encountered some bugs along the way but I liked finding the hidden pieces it was pretty fun!

The game could use sfx and ambient music it would make it a lot better in terms of feeling.

Good job making this game :)

Thank you for playing :)

That's a good idea to have a diffculty setting, didn't think about it. The sanity meter was not really well polished since we had to rush the game design a bit towards the end.
When improving it we could totally take into account a difficulty setting to give the player more time thanks for the idea!

Thank you for playing! Appreciate your feedback 😄

Really enjoyed the experience. The art is simple, the audio is well made and the concept is pretty original!
Having checkpoints at important places, and for the easter egg having another exit was well thought of!
The gameplay was well designed from start to finish around progression and on a learning curve basis, really nice!

I finished the game. The atmosphere started being tense when there were monsters, I think I kind of liked more when it was about being a puzzle more than escaping monsters. Still, it was interesting to play and well balanced!

Very solid submission well done 😄

I enjoyed the visual style of the cabin. Felt like it could be part of a full-fledge game!
The game had a cozy feeling it was nice.

The night got a bit too dark it was hard to see anything at night. I did like the idea of having the light inside the cabin guide you to it, but it wasn't lit up properly I think.
The chopping mechanic didn't work as you intended I think, but once I got the hang of it it got easier.

Overall enjoyed the small experience of the game good work 😄

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the game 😄 I managed to finish the game.
It felt very relaxing and the story was well written. I enjoyed seeing the evolution each day, kept the story going and kep me wandering what will be there next day.

My only downside was that it was a bit stressful to handle the survival bars. I did find it useful to have a sense of getting low on supplies. But with the way it works currently it added a feeling of pressure. When finishing to gather all that was possible in a day, my thought was to anyway go sleep to progress in the story so I'm not sure the bars functionning that way was completely necessary.

Overall great game I really did enjoy finishing it and the story kept me going!

It's a fun concept for a small game and I found the story interesting. I would have prefered playing in a bigger map so it would be easier to avoid the enemies, especially as their number increases.

Congrats on making a game :)

Thanks for playing, and I appreciate your feedback! :)

I like the concept it was interesting, but the implementation was not really fun unfortunately.
I did not understand how to beat the puzzles, and picking up the items was just me spamming on everything xD There should be a way to manually have to pickup the items so it doesn't encourage spamming without thinking about the list.
The UI was also buggy, the text didn't display properly.

Unfortunate that it was kind of hard to understand the gameplay, but with polishing it could be an interesting gameplay concept with fun minigames!

Played and rated!

Really liked the atmosphere and the art style of the game! The minigame was simple yet interesting with the audio sfx. Overall it felt very relaxing, like I was collecting pokemons.

I ran into a bug at some point where pressing E too fast made the catching UI appear, the bar was empty, and I couldn't interact with any button so I got stuck and had to reload.

Well done finishing your first game 😄

I played the game and I died after 3 days from a nuclear bomb dropping? I'm not even sure to be honest, I was doing kind of ok xD

I liked the atmosphere and the vibe of being isolated was well captured.

The core gameplay loop seemed too slow for me as I had to wait for the server response to progress most of the time. I couldn't handle the bars properly, seemed like I was always chasing one bar dropping. I did a no smoking playthrough, maybe it played in making the bars management more difficult?
I think I would have enjoyed it more if I didn't have to worry as much about the bars and focus on the weird things happening as we progress in the game, as I really liked that part. I wanted to understand what was happening better.

Overall nice submission on the quarantine theme!

Played and rated!

The art style was pretty unique! I felt like a rat playing this game so the vibe was well done.

The attack animation at first I thought was attacking ourselves or injecting the medicine. Attacking others didn't feel as impactful as I still got hit most of the time. There are a lot of medecine pickups so I don't think we can ever run out of it, maybe by adding more levels it would make more sense having them layed out in a better way.

At first I didn't find the password so I had to try multiple times to find the note. Then it felt very weird putting the password in caps as in the letter but it didn't work, was very confused. Tried and did eventually work with the first letter capital.

Overall it was frustrating to play but as I kept going and understood the systems better it was nice reaching the end! Well done making this small game 😄

I liked the art, audio and concept of the game! It ran pretty smoothly in terms of gameplay!
The feeling of aliens aboard the spaceship and the fear of looking out for them was great 😄

I would have enjoyed the game a lot more if it was clearer who could shoot or not, and better feedback about the action points. I only realized how the AP system works only after 2 tries and it suddently made a lot more sense to plan the gameplay. I didn't know where the escape pods were, I would have like a cinematic or something that showed where our goal is to go. I don't think it would have removed the fear vibe all while having an idea of where we're supposed to go.

Overall I liked the game it was pretty cool!

Thanks for playing, I appreciate your elaborate feedback it's really helpful!

The points you mentionned are great hints to what we should work on the game for a future update!
I didn't think about the shadows part, that's a great idea :)

The game design of the game was our weakest point unfortunately, so when in comes to the map and making puzzles fun and interesting, we could not do such a good job on time. In fact we kind of had to rush it in the final day :/
With a future update I'll be sure to update those in priority and make it much more interesting to explore and solve puzzles!

Thanks a ton for your feedback I'm noting all your points.

Honestly really impressed this was made in only 10 days, very hard to believe.
The art style looks great, the audio is fantastic, the dialogue and story have depth and are interesting and the mechanics are simple and compelling.

Overall the game has a unique vibe and the world feels so alive thanks to the creatures connecting to eachother through dialogue and having flavor text. It helped make them feel part of it.

My only downside is the bugs that happened, I got stuck at the pirate captain on the boat it didn't load.
Other than that it felt amazing to play from start to finish, amazing job!

Glad you enjoyed the art style 😄

Appreciate your feedback, I'll take this into account  to try to improve on them, thank you!

Thank you really appreciate it! :)

Yes character jump felt off for a lot of people it seems, it was supposed to be that way to make flying mechanics with dash a lot of fun, but we couldn't finish what we had in mind. I will try to improve it in the future.

Thanks for playing and for your feedback!
There's certainly is a lot to improve on the map and movement, will be improving those.

Really enjoyed playing the escape room, was a fun experience 😄

I liked the puzzles they were well thought out and fun to figure out. I managed to finish the game while solving almost everything myself.
Only the last puzzle was very hard to find, I almost had it I thought it was first and last red letter, and same for white, or something to do with the number. Had to use the hint to get it though, pretty hard!

The art could use some improvement. For audio if it had a nice background music I think it would feel much better.

Overall well done it was a fun game :)

First of all congrats for making your first game, it's a big step forward 😄
I found the story interesting and it fits the theme pretty well.

To improve the game you could add music, sounds and improve the art style. I think it will help a lot with getting the right atmosphere for the game.

Nice job!

I liked the concept of the game, the combat was fun and the art style looks unique! Loved the animations as well. Overall I really enjoyed playing the game. I got to level 6 and stopped because it was getting pretty long.

What frustrated me mostly was the platforming. The combat itself was fun but most of the time I could not go up and I got stuck below trying to shoot the enemies I couldn't see. The tank was also a bit strong, especially because of the platform bug it's hard to kill it without seeing it.

Great submission! 😄

The take on the theme is unique. The gameplay is quite straigthforward and interesting :)

Got stuck at the secret room with pentagram as well, I didn't really know what to do from this point.
The window size on the itch io page is too small and we can't fullscreen so it got a bit hard to read.

Overall great take on the theme and nice puzzle game 😄

The core concept is pretty interesting, I can see that being a central system for a unique game!

Currently it gets repetitive and there's not much of a reason to fullfill the requests though. Including this system in a story with an objective could make for an amazing game design I think.

The beginning was really cool! I enjoyed the atmosphere and art of the game. Was able to finish the game.

The controls on the other hand left me a bit frustrated, as I would have prefered being able to decide when to dash instead of waiting for it to appear.

Overall great visuals and theme!

The art and audio are fantastic, really had a pleasant and creepy vibe at the same time. I enjoyed the isolation minigame mechanic a lot :)

Sometimes I had to walk all the way back as I didn't clearly understand where the objective was, but other than that it was a smooth experience in terms of dialogue and gameplay.
