I enjoyed the story and it looks great. It could use more game play, make it more interactive.

Good message. Some choices would have been nice, even if they did not effect the game beyond some minor dialog changes . Like an options to tell your mom "No, thank you, maybe another night" or "I'm busy. Leave me alone." Responding to the "friend" could be either complacently saying "Ok. Maybe another time," leading to the friend saying, something like "Yeah, whatever" or trying to assert themself by insisting the friend come pick them up, to which the "friend" tells them to get over being left out. At this point, maybe the player considers joining the family dinner. Whether they follow through could depend on their earlier reaction. If they had rudely declined, they might be hesitant to seek their family out.

GAMEPLAY
Firstly, the message of the game carries wisdom! The game itself lacks sufficient interaction to feel like a true game. Offering the player choices that influence the message or interactions within the room could enhance the gameplay experience.

ART STYLE / VISUALS
The 3D appearance of the room was nice.

AUDIO / SOUND DESIGN
The sound design was simple.

INNOVATION
Innovation was not really evident in the game.

THEME
The message of the game was good and touched on the theme appropriately, carrying a wise message.

Keep up the good work for your next game. The base is solid. Some more interactions would be nice. đź’Ş

Totally great message, but the lack of any choices or anything didn’t really feel like much of a game. Also left wondering why the friends were such assholes! I think it’d be more impactful if you could say, give the player some choices and incentives that favor the “wrong” move, and see how those choices affect ourselves and others. Like, if I had an interest meter, and was playing some little minigame that i actually liked, and my video game mom came and told me to come to dinner… maybe I would choose to keep my interest meter high and play that minigame instead of going. Some way to mechanically place the player in this character’s head, beyond just reading some dialogue.

Feels more like reading the transcript of a self care video than a video game. I'm not against the message, but there isn't much to the story other than playing as someone who is holed up in their room, voluntarily isolated from their family, and involuntarily with their friends who exclude him, with no change or resolution of either situation. The text scrolling speed is a little slow for the dialogue while the way the text is printed in the inbetween sections makes it a little hard to read until everything is printed out. Finally, there's random episodes of Cartoon Network shows playing on the TV? which I don't think you can do without the rights to them.
