Beautiful pixelart graphics. Story was fun with an interesting mystery, though I felt did not get to enjoy it properly, always being on the rush to grab food or get back to bed before the meters ran out. (What happens if they do? I managed to never let that happen.)
Nice fun little game jam entry!
GAMEPLAY
The controls worked smoothly for me. There was some stress at times trying to keep the meters filled. Especially the first time, but the second time I knew that coconuts are very handy, and I made it until I was rescued from the island. Did I miss anything else by the way or that was the correct end? Fun little actions you could do each day to advance the story.
ART STYLE / VISUALS
The pixel art was nicely done and cohesive, contributing positively to the game's overall aesthetic.
AUDIO / SOUND DESIGN
The audio was effectively composed, enhancing the game's atmosphere and fitting well with the visual style.
INNOVATION
The game didn't feature notable innovations but was solidly executed within its genre.
THEME
The theme of isolation on an island was well integrated into the gameplay.
Solid pixel art puzzle & story driven game. Well done ๐ช
Played and rated!
I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the game ๐ I managed to finish the game.
It felt very relaxing and the story was well written. I enjoyed seeing the evolution each day, kept the story going and kep me wandering what will be there next day.
My only downside was that it was a bit stressful to handle the survival bars. I did find it useful to have a sense of getting low on supplies. But with the way it works currently it added a feeling of pressure. When finishing to gather all that was possible in a day, my thought was to anyway go sleep to progress in the story so I'm not sure the bars functionning that way was completely necessary.
Overall great game I really did enjoy finishing it and the story kept me going!
Would appreciate if you check out and rate our game as well:

Thanks for your extensive review! I'll certainly play your game.
The art and the sound effects were great and kept the game interesting to play and i really liked the little comments that popped up every time you wake up, but i think that the water and food were running out very quickly i dont know if it was the intention or not but still the game was really fun to play.
Thank you! The resources running out quickly was intentionally. Otherwise the player wouldn't have enough to do. Ideally there would be more stuff for the player to do.
The game had a positive impression by its art and visuals.
Morever the sound effects are also great.
It suits the theme well and the whole story is designed at its great.
Hope you will play and rate my game as well.
Provide some feedback as well.
Thanks and yes I will play your game as well.
Very nice! I really like the art style, it looks very good. I actually like how fast the game is. Usually I don't like resource managment games but this one was fun :)
I didn't find the line for the fishing rod, and I died from hunger since all the food was in the fridge when it went bad.
Thank you very much. When the radio was destroyed, you can get a wire from the radio for the fishing rod.
Nice Game, Please try our game:)
Nice I was looking for a trapped in a isle type of game. The art is very cute and the sfx are great. Only negative point is that the stats kept going down in the morning texts. Overall a great experience.
Thanks! The stats should be an easy fix, will do it in the update after the voting.
Thought I recognized the name and art style from jam #9 :) Great entry! Solidly done, great music, eating coconut halves for food and water was giving me flashbacks to Card Survival Tropical Island. I assume Wilson was just an easter egg but couldโve been a nice touch not having him show up until later on. I also accidentally skipped the dialogue with the final boss so-to-speak, so Iโm not sure if I missed something there. Really had a good time with this overall though!
Wow that's cool that you recognized my style! Wilson was indeed just an easter egg. I thought about giving the dialogue a short delay before closing, but I figured players would get annoyed if they had read the text on an earlier run. But skipping dialogue isn't ideal aswell. Thanks for your comment (and playing)
I liked this game! It starts off relaxing but gets stressful fast. My only criticism is that especially with the plants the collision felt a bit off.
Thanks, yeah I should improve the collision (after the voting).
It kept me attentive to the screen. Fun, good audio management. Good game.
Thanks, nice that you noticed the audio management.
Love it, the only thing I didn't like was how fast the player gets hungry, thirsty and sleepy.
Thanks, and I agree. I sped up the stats because otherwise the player didn't have enough to do in one day. Ideally there should be more stuff for the player to do.
Would have been great if it was a little slower
Peaceful music was a perfect backdrop against my ever increasing insanity. Its tough to portray the theme in this way and I think you did a great job.
Art was lovely and the minimal puzzle solving was just enough to keep me engaged. Nice entry, great work!
Thanks for the kind words!
Really dig the vibes, reminded me of the sims honestly! I had some controls issues with the space bar... Does the space bar require a long press to register? I died of hunger cause I couldn't open the fridge.
Thanks! The spacebar should register immediately... I'll look into it after the voting.
