Figuring out how to start the game was a puzzle in and of itself, but I was able to get my cursor to work eventually. Also glad for google lens’ live text translation feature, though I don’t count it against anyone to not make their game in English. Thanks to the map someone posted here I tried to find my way to the car key, but randomly died - when I refreshed, I was still outside in the spot I died, but the game popped up the letter to read at the start with the accept/don’t accept questions and wouldn’t let me move.
I found the white noise jumping between left and right ears pretty annoying as opposed to atmospheric. Would’ve loved just a little more clarity about where I was and what I was trying to do, and the bugs ironed out, because I do think the atmosphere overall was pleasantly spooky!
Thanks for trying it, we will consider adding more guides, as for random death, suddenly you were being chased by Slenderman and you didn't realize it and the camera, it was something that we saw that happened only when it was published to play from the browser, anyway thank you for playing it and rating it
Unfortunately I could not get the game to run...
I was not able to click the CONTINUE button. I lost my mouse cursor. Pressed all buttons and keys but I was left on the control information screen.
Any help how to able to play would be nice... Like to play it.
This happened to me too, but I found if I hit Escape multiple times eventually I could hover over the game and interact with it with my mouse.
We apologize for that, we left the mouse locked from the beginning, it was a small mistake, but as it says in the instructions, for the mouse to be seen again you just have to press the "Esc" key, and with that the cursor is enabled and you can press the UI buttons, if when you pass that screen you can't move try crouching, After uploading the game to the web we saw that it didn't start the same as from the engine and sometimes the camera is pointed elsewhere.
I hope you can see the full game, as I have seen that some people have lag and it can be difficult to get lost in the woods, however I saw in a comment that someone did pass it on and made a somewhat accurate map of the location of the escape car and the place where the car key is located, Which, by the way, is floating next to a tomb.

Managed to get into the game and play it!
Now I was able to give it a proper rating.
Needed some tips from the comments and you to play. After that I could get further.

Had a hard time to find the key and the gameplay was a bit laggy on the browser version. The atmosphere was pretty intense, but since I was running around a lot being lost I didn't feel the pressure as much at some point.

Thank you for trying it, I didn't know how to also put it to download so that they could try it in the same way as we did when we did it, if you can tell us how, I would appreciate it, as it is important and we can apply it later.
So with the browser version if nothing is visible when pressing Run game, then we need to open fullscreen mode so it can appear. You can enable a fullscreen button on the itch io settings.
When I start the game I had to press Escape two times to see the cursor on the browser, I believe by default the game locks the cursor in the code, so the bug might be coming from there.
I think in one try I pressed Ctrl and it made me see the game camera properly as well, but not too sure.
I hope this helps you find the problem!
Unfortunately I kept getting lost in the map and couldn't find the key or the car, and couldn't exit the game over screen as the escape key didn't bring my mouse up for some reason.
Thanks for trying to play it, sorry, we'll consider putting more guides on the map, we hoped it wouldn't be that difficult, although the idea was to go into the forest
I loved this game! From the moment I started playing, I felt an intense sense of nervousness and excitement that kept me on the edge of my seat at all times. The dark and oppressive atmosphere, combined with subtle sounds that make you feel like someone is lurking behind you, created a truly immersive experience.
I made my own map to find the key to the car!
I love the ideia and the environment, but the games is very slow in the browser and you could have added a terror/suspense music for the background!

The game didn't work. Also It made my pc freeze and lag like crazy. At leat the cicada ambience was nice.

When testing the game within the browser we realized that it does not load the scene in the same way as from the PC, since it does not show the place where the character is but an outside place, so when we tested it several times, we realized that it is a small bug that is solved by pressing the designated key to crouch (Ctrl), Thank you very much and sorry.
Something that we forgot to mention, is that they must escape by car and the key to it is located next to a tomb hidden under bodies that grow in a tree, the ending explains many things
