Quite the hidden gem! I really liked the gameplay and theme usage.

Volume settings would be nice.

The execution difficulty is a bit high sometimes with very tight timings and jumps. I eventually beat the whole game but some levels took a lot of tries. You often know what you have to do quite fast but then fail the execution many times. Someone mentioned a lower gravity would be nice, that sure would help.

Fun game and a fun concept with the switching mechanic. I did find myself getting my fingers mixed up at times, pressing Space when I needed to hit CTRL and vice versa. The character’s movement felt just a little too quick at times, which caused me to fall off platforms occasionally.

The idea is really cool, though, and the colors were used well. The music also fit perfectly with the pixel-style game. A solid jam entry, also the theme was checked and it was enjoyable trying to get through as many levels as possible. Great work—keep it up! 😊

Hi, thanks for playing my game!

And thanks for the feedback! I noticed the controls need some revision, as many people have mentioned. I will try to create better controls for my future games, especially platformers.

Also thank you for the kind words! This is actually my very first game that i ever published. To hear that people actually liked it really motivates me to keep making more games.

Really frustrated my computer won't play this game. Nothing to do with you. My laptop just can't play Godot downloads. Browser Godot games are fine, but if I try to play a download one, all I get is music and a black screen :(.

Hope more people are able to actually play it. Looks fun.

Hi, sorry to hear the problem you're experiencing. Many people have also suggested that i should've just uploaded a browser build instead of desktop build to make it easier to play. I will definitely keep this in mind for future game jams. Thanks for giving it a try, though!

Some cool puzzles but is it possible to get past the area with two slimes that requires a super jump to progress? Speaking of which, I triggered a glitch that caused me to leap far above the screen and I'm not sure how I did it. I quite enjoyed the coins transforming slimes. I also enjoyed the central mechanic. Well done all around. My biggest suggestion is to redo the controls. R to restart a level, and space bar to shift perspectives maybe?

Also the music is stuck in my head now.

I think I have an idea on what level You are referencing to. I might not have introduced the full mechanic of the slime properly in this game. Actually, You can jump over those slimes to gain a jump boost effect! This allows You to jump higher than you normally can, it's enough to let you reach the tall cliff on the right side of the level!

Also, that is an interesting glitch that You found. Is that has anything to do with the slime perhaps? Would definitely try to find and replicate it on My own and fix it.

I will also definitely overhaul the control mechanics and add a reset button later for a full version to make My game a generally more enjoyable experience. Thanks for giving a feedback! I'm glad that You liked the music I made for the game!

It was fun to play and nice use of the color palette, liked the subtle differences when switching

Two things i noticed, first in your first level it says use arrow keys to move. so i expected up arrow was jump. It wasn't, luckily it was the standard spacebar to jump but it was a bit inconstant.

I see you use godot, in game jams i would always opt to make a web build as it takes a way the hurdle of downloading, waiting for windows and virus scanners to do their thing. Of course if you used the mono version forget what i said :D

Hi, I'm glad that you enjoyed my game! Sorry to hear the troubles you had to go through to play the game, should've taken those things into account before exporting the game in desktop build. Will definitely keep that in mind for future game jams and to opt for a web build! I will also make sure to always give a more precise and consistent control instructions for my future games. Thanks for the feedback!

I like the concepts you have here! The slimes being coins in one world makes for some really interesting level design. I would have liked to see more of the color palette used to help differentiate the two "sides" more. I'm not sure if I missed it somewhere but I think there should be a reset button as I had gotten myself stuck in one of the levels and had to restart the whole game. Overall I liked this game, its a unique platformer.

Hi, thanks for playing my game! I'm glad that you liked it!

Thanks for giving a feedback! And no, You didn't miss the reset button. As of now, unfortunately there is no reset button implemented yet. So, the only way to reset the current level You're in is to intentionally die by either falling off the world map (assuming there is a pit) or colliding into a slime (also assuming there still any slime exist). I realize now that I should've implemented this feature long ago early in the development stages, because this is such a simple but crucial feature that my game very much needed. But, I will definitely add this feature in the future along with additional levels and new mechanics! I also will definitely try to use more of the color palette to emphasize more each of the two sides.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you once again for trying out my game!
