Much better on the encounters in the new version. Now when in the dungeons it doesn't feel like such a punishment to take a wrong turn and invites more to explore i think.

Only thing i noticed now i played it for the 3th time. it would be nice to have a skip on the starting story (if there is i could not find which button to press). If you extend this game might be an idea that if you already saved your game  you wont have to see it again for example.

Thanks for trying. Because of your answer i was checking as well, and indeed i see that sometimes the web build has some strange bugs i never had on my dev build.  The curse of gamejams i guess. But it explains why people say think there are to many items to read trough (because there are)

Thanks for your feedback.

As for the stamps thanks for the advice, and i think they are the only thing i did not later redo in a smaller size to match the rest of the pixels, maybe that would have helped. But the fact that they were on the other side was a thought out choice. mostly to trick people dragging the wrong stamp because of how our brains work. Also doing wrong things gave some more fun(i hope) comments from the angel and devil so i tried to play into that

Thanks for your extensive feedback. Unfortunately you had a bug but i will be honest it did not change the gameplay as after the third shift i could not add any more mechanics.

I am curious though did you had more than 5 items in the list?  Because it should have 5 but it might feel as longer because the sentences where not short.

Its always a challenge between making it challenging but not to.  While i could have done the same with 2 items as you can still get a "good good", "good bad" and "bad bad" outcome. But also randomization is a  b*ch, i actually worked with 2 lists 1 evenly split between good neutral and evil and one list of just good that had a 66% of triggering, which should have mostly added good people.

Thanks for your feedback, Yeah i have heard it a few times the text was to small. i thought it would be big enough on full screen, but its something i need to find a solution to. Probably less long, larger text.

thanks for your feedback, the game should show a counter near the demon. But I did not explain that very well. If the counter is full you go to heaven if it's empty to hell. But to be honest both endings are just a text plus thanking you for playing (counter goes from -50 to 50. But a more visual  periodically feedback of your progress sounds like a good idea

I figured it out, it was not skill issue but the (sorry :) ) mongoose was mostly over the platform i had to jump on and i had not seen that as for me only a small corner was visible. So i was just blind not unskilled :D (at least i can tell myself that)

That's a good way of doing it for gamejams that allow that, and you still took the time to recolor all the assets. Work smarter not harder and that is what you did :)

thank you very much for your feedback. I am glad you enjoyed the game

Thanks for your feedback, and i totally agree.  But time is the enemy of a game jam :)

I had some extra features in mind like connecting photos to actions, spotting infiltrating demons. giving free passes to Catholics but only if the confessed. Checking date of death for old souls trying to  trick getting in to heaven and some things like that. But i was happy finish the minimum game play.

Interesting take on the jam. For a first game if i understand you correctly wel done. I would increase the movement speed i the star a bit (i know you have powerups) but moving and attacking felt a bit tedious.

Solid entry to the jam

Nice use of the colors and implementation of the theme, fun to play as well

Not sure if a bug but if you jump then switch of characters while one is still in the air he will stay in the air. For the rest well thought out levels

I like the game and music, it took me a hot second to understand i could use the other char as a platform.

Only issue i had was sometimes the jump would not work, and even if you was only standing against the block (not on top of it) it would not move.

But interesting take on the theme and a nice platformer/puzzle

Good job, i really liked the fire at the beginning. Platforming was a bit hard at times, and when i turned into the monster all humans were already dead i don't know if that was the intention ?

One tip for the platforming, if you let a player turn around don't move him right away i had often that i fall of a platform just because i wanted to change the direction i was facing

But i do like your interpretation the theme, well done

I like what you did with the colors the spaceships looked very good

I did feel once i got attacked it was suddenly to much at once, might have been your intention

One  tip i could give is make the star background move with you,  the trail did show what way you was going but for me it was  a bit visually disorientating

Good use of the theme, sometimes it did feel a bit like parking one of the guys and focusing on the other,  i do think the spikes where a bit to unforgiving sometimes.

Sound / music would have been a cherry on top with this one

I git a bit confused that i lost after the first round, but i think it was because i did not close the wall around my castle.  Shooting felt a bit off to me.  But in general a good game, some minor fixes and will be much more enjoyable. Well done

Amazing game nice art, i like how here you don't just switch your self but need the energies to force switching of character and teleporting. I would add some sort of highlighting if you are over something that needs to do something. First time i just ran past the energy not knowing it did somting

also love the afterimage of the other character when switching

I like the game and your use of the limited colors, however everything white did make it a but hard to judge jumps sometimes. I like how the overseer looms over you from the start.

My main advice is try to offer a webbuild next time. and if you have a Fullscreen game make an exit button so its easier to close your game.

For the rest job well done amazing result for a 10day jam

Nice puzzle game, very well thought out. Not to hard not to easy. Very fun to play

Very nice, this feels like a well rounded game, very polished. And the art/music gameplay really fits very well together.

And i love how you have respawn points so i wont have to go back to the beginning of the level constatly,

never mind right after posting this i saw you also offered a download so i tried that, that version does work for me.

Very interesting art and the sort of fisheye lence effect. It is a fun game to play, i have seen this kind of game now a few time in this jam but i think your art style sets you appart from others.

I did find that you put your menu button in a bit of a weird place, it of course does not realy make your game any less fun

I will refrain from voting for this one as your game is weirdly zoomed in and i cant play it. maybe you can still change some settings in the page settings without uploading a new game to fix this.  If you do let me know and i will try again

My preference would be a bit less enemies for the tanks, it took me so much time to get the second part because i am really not good at these kind of games.  The tank part did however feel more fleshed out than the platformer one.  I think its very nice you could make this in the time of the jam

Good idea for the jam, however the first level did not seem to work, the cube was in the cylinder but the wall did not disappear.

Good to add a tutorial level. Just one tup if you show dialogs hide the previous one. i was just walking around with the first one open and the second opened on top of it so it was hard t read,

Missing the theme a bit but good use of the colors. also its pretty interesting to play if not a bit hard at times.

I would have loved if the speed of your drag mattered to position the ball a bit better. But well done on making a game with this much levels in a 10 day jam

I did miss that indeed,  ok it makes a bit more sense now.  A bit my fault not to look at the how to play button but somehow i expected something in the description or when staring the game. So that is the only tip i can give make it more apparent. I updated my rating accordingly.  The game feels good for the kind of game it is.

Great concept having to place yourself correctly using 2 different views. Fits in well with the gamejam, I would let the wave system grow a bit less fast to get player get a bit more used to the game but that is the only downside i saw

I like the take on the theme that is also reflected in the name you chose for the game. and instead of making just one game you made a few smaller ones. well done

Making an rts in a gamejam is always a challenge. i think you pulled it of. its fun and needs a lot of tactic to finish the levels.

A but short but i like how objects in both views stopped you so you really had to plan the maze,

I did found j a interesting choice to switch , but of course that doesn't matter. I would advice that if your gameplay is fully keyboard based to make people not have to click to continue but use a key instead.

Well done on your submission

Cool concept, some sound and music would be welcome but i understand time is the enemy of a gamejam.

I had to chuckle a bit when it said "be careful of the white tile" because at that moment i just had played the white chararacter yet so everything was white.

I could cheese it a little bit as white character to walk on the edge so it would reveal where you would fall trough and some of the buttons were pressable from across the gap. But a nice game for a 10day jam

Nice atmosphere in this game, i also love  the use of light and shadow.

if its your first game or not its something to be proud of, and you even had enough time to make a second game.

Amazing art and a well thought out game. It felt a bit repetitive after while though. I would have liked to see a little bit more of a puzzle element instead of simply find the picture and flip it.

But for a gamejam game an amazing submission.

I have no experience with UE so dont know i possible. but i always advice people to have a webbuild available. Usually i'm on linux so can play windows games, and beside that  i have to dowload the game, tell windows its ok to play, wait for my virus scanner to say its ok before i can play it so it a long time before i can play it.

game with a very strong message imho. With the help of the music and dialog makes it a whole package. I also think you spend a lot of time on making appealing assets for your game.

Just found some minor bugs, most notable is that sometimes when walking you would be stuck in a frontward animation. But that is not something that takes away of the experience of tis game

I like this idea, and its fun to play and figure out what the shapes actually are, but for me personally its a bit of s stretch calling it two points of view, but i can see where you were coming from,

and  as the "real civil engineer" would say starting with the strongest shape a bold choice

Good use of the theme, i like how it not influenced yourself but also the enemies.

However sometimes the stars would stop me and not be picked up. And personally i would prefer if an enemy touches me it just restarts instead of holding me down so i cant move.

One thing to keep in mind is that you either make sure stars don't respawn or your points are reset after you reset else its very easy to keep restarting and picking up the easy stars.

Solid game for   agame jam

Nice art and the idea seems very good.  However *and maybe i am missing something" i can not finish it as i can not jump over the ferret and get caught every time. Probably skill issues in my side. But the art is cute and idea is intresting

Nice game especially if this is your first game. It got hard very fast but that is fitting for the kind of game it is

Fun take on rock paper scissor, i did miss a bit the theme in this one to be honest. But its fun gameplay nonetheless. I would like to go on a winning spree without having to go back to the press space to start screen however.
