Great submission, firmly on the theme. When I got to penguins and they seemed to wave at me, I tried talking to them... but they just killed me on spot :D .
Two suggestions
thanks for the feedback! I agree for the instant death that can be frustrating. For the coins you have to take again after death, that was a choice since there were so few levels. If I had more time to create more, I would have decided differently 😉
Awesome submission - art/sound/controls all felt right on the money. I am slow and also encountered the non-looping music, kudos to you for updating it after the jam!
Thank you ! I'm not used to finish project so music is not something I often add to my programs. I'll be more careful next jam. Thanks for the feedback!
This entry is really good fun, a proper classic platformer!
Everything feels really polished; the difficulty felt just right! I'm quite a fan of the "twitchy" physics (fast jumps and strong gravity), and the graphics work well with that.
thanks ! I appreciate the feedback 😉
This is a true classic platformer over here!
Graphics and Music / SFX (love these penguins sounds) spread some good vibes in the game, but you forgot to make the music loop!
Level Design is well done and I want to point out that you included a timed jump in the game (if we press a little, we will make a small jump, and a bigger jump if button is pressed longer), good job
I finished the game with a score of: 41150!
It's very classic, but it's also one of my favorite entry for this jam
Thanks a lot ! Yes, I updated with a looping version of the music after, I'm not used to go that far on a game (lol) so I'm not used to notice that music is not looping ;)
