I love the look and feel  - the color scheme in particular. Looking forward to playing this more as it evolves!

Developer

Thanks! I should probably tone it down a touch, lol... but I do love color XD

I love the look and  feel. Some of the NPC's messages are hard to read though and I'm not sure if it was the angel  I was looking at of if it's just placeholder fonts. I also hope you will be swimming in the water by the time we get to the next jam.

Developer

Thanks! We will for sure do a pass on the NPC text, since we would like people to be able to read them on phones too (and they will probably be a source of game tips). Swimming will be in as well, the platform actually has support for it out of the box, but you need really clean collision to make sure people can leave the water so we need to get that set up :)

I like the cute aesthetic that this has going here! This def a good prototype as I got the vibe and energy here. My only comment is the mouse control when clicking the game not in full screen mode. I get a drop down from browser that Dotbigbang.com requests for control. It feels kind of weird as I feels like an unknown third party is asking (though after some research looks like this game is powered by it). Maybe a disclaimer during like the pregame splash screens have something like powered by or somewhere in credits. I am usually paranoid about about any party asking for browser permissions, but just wanted to bring up just encase. Anyways, great prototype and can’t wait to see what y’all show for the production phase!

Thanks for playing and leaving this feedback! We didn't realize that prompt for mouse control was happening. We'll throw a warning onto the game page and potentially into the game as well!

The charming art and unusual world-concept already make this a fun little space to inhabit. I liked visiting the example-art-area and seeing a more elaborate space with people at dinner tables, it felt like I'd accidentally wandered into a resort. I'm looking forward to seeing the next update in two weeks!

Thanks! :)

I like the aesthetic. Looks very tropical. The concept of a growing turtle is interesting. Personally I would stick to keyboard control on menus because mouse moves stop changing camera angles after the menu asked for mouse input.

Ya, we have to figure out what we are going to do with the UI controls because we also need to support tapping the buttons when using a phone. Dot big bang lets you click in a window to get mouse lock back, and then hit escape to get your mouse back again, but most people won't be used to that. We will figure out what we want to do there this week once we have the UI all up for testing.
