I managed to install the game via the itch app.  Didn't seem to be able to shoot anything with Left Mouse Button. The top down view was well done - I would have liked it zoomed out a little bit more so I could see more of the map - otherwise you need a mini-map display or choosing where to go is just guesswork. I think the white birds were the emus - I thought there were geese at first - they didn't move or do anything and I couldn't shoot them - did I miss something?

The emus are pretty cute. Also, I love the idea of this game, I always thought the great emu war was an interesting piece of history. That said it's sometimes a little hard to understand what's going on, I would suggest maybe an audio cue to guide the player in the direction of the invading emus?

That's a good idea, i was struggling to think of a way to alert the player, i was thinking an arrow that grows the closer they get but I went with a slightly simpler method of just having a single entry point towards the farm.

I tried downloading both versions but when unzipping them I got some kind of unidentified error, no idea why (hasn't happened before, so I have no clue what might be wrong). If you look into that and fix it I'd love to try the game later on. :)

Edit: I got it to work using the itch installer, strange. Had some fun shooting emus before my house (?) magically disappeared lol. XD Enjoyable overall, the graphics were cute too.

The farm still needs a model and a restart screen was needed for when you lose haha. I'll make sure they're all added to fully complete game.

Glad you got it working too and thanks for the review.

I got the same issue - I was able to browse through the zip contents, but cannot extract the files to a folder.

Quite fun ! But a little hard!

it's even hard for me haha. I forgot to change the amount of health that farm has. Thanks for playing the game!

Quite challenging, and fun

That was an honest mistake, i forgot to increase the health of the farm before packaging. I ran out of time to really add a few other things sadly but thank you for playing, i learnt a couple of new things this time round(my goal each time i make a game).
