Loved this game only found one ending so far
Loved the ability to play like history or change it. Loved the creative book menu for options. Great job sticking to the theme of the jam!
Thank you so much! 😊 Very happy that you enjoyed the game! ❤️
An amazing experience filled with history and solid narrative, I have to admit is a very cool VN and the historical accuracy meter was such a cool idea, kudos to the creator!
Thank you so much! :) I'm very happy that you enjoyed the game. <3
An entertaining tale, well told.
I would have liked more choices but that is the nature of this genre.
Some of the comical choices were excellent and the characters were nicely fleshed out, considering you only had their words to do it.
Thank you very much! :) I agree with you, more choices would be great, and definitely something I would have added given more time. I really appreciate your kind words, and I'm happy that you enjoyed the game!
Loved how well this was written and easily played through. I've always wanted to play a RenPy game - super!
Thank you so much! Very happy that you enjoyed it. 😊
Wow, congratulations for making such an amazing game!
It was a nice choice to use free assets and focus more on the narrative and the choice of gameplay. Very interesting story and the historical accuracy crowns were such a nice idea! You did an impressive job, the dialogues are perfect!
Thank you so much! I appreciate it so much, and truly happy to hear that you enjoyed it. 😊
Oh wow... I'm not even sure where to begin. Out of context, I'd never guess this was a jam-game. The writing made here is just fabulous, such perfectly crafted dialogues and story. I am amazed by everything in this game and I can't find anything I would like to see a fix or update to, and that's sort of rare because I try very hard to give a mixed review but I just can't think of anything. I managed to complete it with almost full historical accuracy - and if it wasn't because of the fact I want to get through as many of the submissions as possible I would've just made another attempt at once. I will probably get back to it as soon as I feel I've played most of the submissions! The ability to scroll back to earlier areas was such a nice addition that was really nice to play with, but unfortunately I couldn't scroll back indefinitely, so I don't know where I failed those last accuracy-points.
But just, wow.
Helt fantastiskt!
Wow, thank you so much! :) What a beautiful review, I really, really appreciate it. I'm super happy that you enjoyed the game so much. <3
Gjorde min dag! ;)
This was such an interesting entry! Wish I had more time to finish the story, but I really enjoyed what I played. Here's the VOD: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1259192520
Thank you so much, and I really appreciate you playing it on stream, was very enjoyable to watch. :) I hope you'll eventually finish it, you were about 60% in hehe.
Way too much content for me to get through it all, but my play session was overall enjoyable.
I like the idea of a historical accuracy mechanic, and it makes me wonder if it might somehow become a thing in education if it is not already.
Thanks for playing, and I'm happy that the game was enjoyable for you. :)
That's a really good thought! Learning through gaming has a lot of potential, hehe. :)
The gameplay is smooth and I really love the music! The historical accuracy system is an interesting idea. The visuals are great except for the brown text on the black background which is a bit hard to read.
Thank you very much! :) I agree, I'll fix the coloring of the text after the Jam is over, hehe.
I am not used to read so much text so it is a bit tough for me to finish the game, but from what I see, the dialogues are carefully written, the visuals, controls, save & load are all greatly done. And most importantly it fits the theme perfectly. Good job!
Thank you very much! :) I'm happy that you enjoyed the game. If you want to try and finish it in the future, a tip is that you can hit the "V" key and you'll get a voice that reads out loud to you, in case you don't want to read as much yourself. :)
Thanks again! :)
Great Game!
Thank you so much! :)
This is a great game, the music feels a little off somehow but not enough to make me not enjoy the game. Really enjoyed it. The historical accuracy aspect was executed really well and in a unique way that was enjoyable to play.
Thank you so much! I'm happy that you enjoyed the game. :)
Something I rarely see a historical game story with a well though out historical outcome. Really smooth and elegant gameplay. The graphics are almost but not dead perfectly synchronized (the characters, background, and UI) kind of feels off a little bit but never the less pleasant. Audio is very well chosen for such a gameplay style. The game theme and historical accuracy are great.
Only issue is that (and this is related to how these type of game are designed) is the amount of time that the Player needs to invest into this game to see the end.
Overall, really well thought out, planned, designed, and executed to producing the final product. Well done.
Thank you very much, really appreciate your kind words and feedback. :)
Yes, I could definitely have been clearer about the game's length and maybe also put more attention on the fact that you can save/load your progress, so you won't have to do it all in one go. :)
Happy that you enjoyed playing my game! :)
Wow this is so great. This type of game I usually find boring but I was fully into it and trying to figure out the historical accuracy meter. I like that the game ends and that you don't get the rest of the story unless you max out the accuracy. Very original and well done and I think I learned a lot too!
Thank you so very much, I really appreciate it! :) Glad that it could entertain you even though it's not normally your style of game, I take that as a great compliment. Happy that you enjoyed it! :)
Haven't finished the game but hands down, this is definitely the best game that came out out of this jam! I'm astounded by the quality of the writing and narration.
Well done and thank you for making this game!
I have the widest smile on my face right now! Wow, thank you so much, that is such a huge compliment and I really appreciate it so, so much!! :)
And thank *you* for playing it! ^^
While gameplay is simple everything feels like real game I would happy to play (and maybe pay). History part was educational as well.
Wow, thank you so much! I really appreciate that. :) I'm so happy that you enjoyed it!
I usually don't like text based games, but the decisions make this one is really fun to play!
Thank you so much! :) I'm taking that as a huge compliment. <3
I don't play visual novels, but this, man, It's really well done. I love the graphic design of this game and it's quite complete too, I love the historical accuracy system. Good job!
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that! :) Especially since you don't usually play visual novels, I am very honored by your comment. <3
This is a very well designed game and I love the graphics. The dialogues are so rich too.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. :) <3 Happy that you enjoyed it!
As it's a little long, I must admit I didn't played till the end, but I will do it in the next days
But I can say that I really like that kind of games, with choices and stories.
you made an incredible amount of work !
Your graphic choices are great !
Really I'm impressed !
