this is the first time I publish a game, and the first Game Jam I join.

I made all the assets, music, and code.

In this game you play a bit of the story of the Battle of Las Piedras, which is one of the most important victories of the movement for Uruguayan independence.

Took me a while to figure out what I was supposed to do. xD Nice art! :D

I struggle with making the mate and ended up with -250.
I tried space bar which launched a blue circle into the air which stayed there permanently moving from the bottom towards the flag for the rest of the story.

The animations for the troops and the flag were well done.
Congratulations on your first jam!!

Thanks!! Yeah I noticed the bug that if you let the animation play out it ends up repeating itself forever... And also the sort of QTE that I made is not very well calibrated hehe, But thank you I didn't put much time into it the first few days, and I ended up working on it seriously for like 2 days only, so it has a bunch of bugs some typos and stuff like that... But all in all I'm quite proud of it because it's the first time I publish something and the first time I use and make pixel art in a game.

So thank you for the support!! : D

I enjoyed the narrative. I could not figure out how to play it so I kept getting score 0 hehe

Thanks! And to get points you have to press space bar once and then press it again when the circles that appear on screen overlap it's a sort of quick time event, although I noticed that if you don't press it again on the first animation loop it just gets bugged and doesn't disappear...

The quick time event should work in a way that if you press space before or after the circles overlap it discounts 250 points if you press it when they're touching it gives you 250 points and if they are almost perfect it gives you an extra 500 points for a total of 750 if you press it close enough to perfect. although I'm pretty sure it might have some bugs and not be perfectly tweaked...

Thanks again though!

I liked the graphics of the characters! I tried playing the game twice and both times it got stuck in a loop where I clicked and it would repeat the same part. Also one time I accidentally hit space bar and balls started flying around (?). I got a bit confused about that. :)

Huh I don't know where it would get stuck, during the story except at the end, was it at the start?

Also the space bar and the balls are supposed to be a quick time event, like you press space once and you begin serving yourself the drink and once you should press it again once the balls overlap. This is the first time a game I made is being played by someone else so I guess what was obvious to me wasn't really obvious at all...

Thanks for the feedback! And also I barely started working with pixel art because I am completely incapable of any other type of art haha
