I couldn't see a clear connection to this theme. Interesting you got it into four different jams. I liked the leader board.
Great job making this in such a short time.
Gameplay wise it was definitely weird for my brain to think "click on dice with mouse" to destroy octopus aha.
Loved the addition of a leaderboard, its a nice feature to have.
I liked the visuals quite a bit. very cute pixel art.

Moved around to try to play it but kept dying so sadly I didn't get the mechanics...Alright I read the other comment and went through the instructions, found how to play. Perhaps that could be one point of improvement is it's not that obvious how to play it :D
So I get it that's a fast reaction game, it's a nice implementation of it :)
The visuals are really nice pixel art !
The leaderboard didn't seem to want to load for me, but I defeated 11 octopuses:
I saw this entry back near the start of the jam, it's impressive you were able to make something in that really short time frame. At the time there weren't instructions on how to use the dice, so I'm glad to see that's been added to the description.
The best strategy seems to be sticking to the middle of the screen, and not getting lured away by the candies, so that you have time to react to an attack from either direction. All the more so since I don't know what the candies do, they don't appear as a counter on the score screen.
