A really fun interpretation of what goes on inside your game boy while playing tetris. This helped me realise that I forgot how to mix colours! The challenge of flipping the shape to match the perspective of the player was a fun little mental challenge too. The main challenge with placing of blocks was the rotation; sometimes they would just continually spin and the mousewheel spin only really goes in one axis.

I AM PROUD OF YOU AVOIDING LASERS TO DESTROY PEOPLE <3 Only the tetris blocks suffer the wrath of the laserrrrrr!

Not sure if I'm hitting a bug here, but every time I press the create button, the "stamp" comes down, and when it goes up there's not constructed piece.

Yeah, sorry. That is a bug. I mentioned it in the looooong message. I am actually busy fixing it right now. It should go away if you restart. I hope.

Developer

Hey Bauke, I fixed this bug (I think). You can try again if you’d like

Very interesting idea! Its so cool that your inside the Tetris machine! The game was well made as well. Very fun fast past gameplay. I loved the building, painting, placing cycle. It was fun! Once i figured out how to make the colors by memory, the challenge became getting blocks quickly from the other side! It was satisfying pressing the blocks into Tetris pieces, and yeeting the blocks across the room while racing the timer was great! I played this a lot. My top score was around 2100. I always ended up dying because placing the piece on the conveyer belt took too log(even though I figured out dropping it and picking it back up made it snape to the flat position) I think once the piece is accepted the game shouldn't wait for it to go up the tube before resetting the timer. I would change the pick-up command to left click and place command to right click or double left click. Then change yeet command to holding down left click for one half second. Other than that I cant wait to see future updates to this with sound and patches! Awesome game!

I loved this concept. Being the little dude behind the screen frantically trying to build the tetromino for the player!

I realised very quickly i suck at making colours which was an interesting fact i didn't know about myself.

The mirrored aspect helps the concept but also adds a moment of '???' when doing certain pieces.

Great Job!

Thank you for playing!

I added the colors because I felt that just making shapes would be a little boring. I also realised that mixing colors is difficult which is why I added the little mixer canister to show what color you currently have.

As for the mirror… Yeah, I really wanted that twist. When I made the game I tested the tetris before adding the AI. Now imagine trying to play tetris from behind…
