- This is probably the best platformer controller I've played with in a jam, and I've played a lot of jam platformers! I'm really impressed with the way it moves, and the theme implementation is my favourite. It's so satisfying to hit things with the ball, and the loop of throwing it and running after it is a lot of fun (made even better by the excellent character controller). I will say, though, unfortunately the levels are too big. It is very difficult to find content to engage with, and when you do, if you miss your shot you're doomed to spend loads of time looking for the ball. I played the post jam version with a much smaller level and it feels MUCH better, it is nice and chaotic and all of the mechanics have a real chance to shine. I can't base my rating on that version, but it's a great start for a project I think you can take much further.
How does your game relate to the theme?
You can do ONE SHOOT, some enemies dies with ONE SHOOT, and to finish all of them, you should take your bullet to do another ONE SHOOT

Very good, it took me a while to get the hang of it but then it was very entertaining. The only bad thing is that it didn't let me use my username when I logged in with the plugin, so I ended up with 3 thousand points but with a random name.

The level could be resized a bit smaller, felt large and I was spending more time just finding all the enemies than actually fighting them.
Looked like I couldn't really own a high score, as it was using the guest form of signing in? Your UI however was amazing. The entire menu system and level loading transitions were on point. Really liked it. Good stuff, man!

Really great game jam submission. My feedback would be that the ball bounces so much and is hard to retrieve, so a lot of times i would shoot a spawner, run around for 30 seconds trying to get my ball, then repeat 2-3 times per spawner. Maybe if spawners died in one shot, if the ball retrieval area box was larger, or the ball bounced less, it would feel less cumbersome. Other than that, the visuals, level design, and overall gameplay was really good. I appreciate the time you spent to make indicators showing where the ball and enemies are, that was a really nice touch. Fantastic job!!

i like the visuals and the gameplay is kinda fun. i like the game physics and controls too with the sound effects.
all i can say is i really like this game
the screen effect hurts my eyes a little but that's ok
