Description
I made this 3 tracks inspired by the painting and the theme phrase. I love the concept of impressions and ambience so I wanted to make ambient atmosferic music, I used a lot of pads, cellos, leads and percussions from Spitfire's LABS Library, I also used Omnisphere for some pads, soundscapes and leads, I also used Kontakt's Action Strikes Library for Percussions and Piano Noire for pianos, and I also used some foley from Cymatics.

Description of Setup (Optional)
I approached mixing by using a couple chains I made a few months ago that I've been using a lot as a base for mixing, I also used Babyaudio's Cristalline Reverb and Waves H-Delay, I tried to make clean atmospheric and powerful mix, I know my mixing needs some refinement so I would really apreciate any feedback in this regard or anything that you think that could be improved. Thank you so much for your time and listening!!

Track 1
Love the piano on this one, and the tremolo strings comes in like wind breezes. Super cool! The fade out is super tasteful also.
Track 2
This sounds like a lot of the songs in the Rainworld OST, which I happen to love, so I love this track :). Those little popping sounds remind me of rain drops.
Track 3
If I heard these footsteps in game I would probably freak out. The bird noises sound super realistic, but the density is maybe a bit higher than real life. I've heard the exact same thing at some zoo or aviary I've been to before, which is a cool effect.
Hey! I did a review of your entry via video. I posted it on the Jam discord but appreciate everyone might not be on there. Here's the video timestamp for your entry: https://youtu.be/1-aLhBdNCKE?t=3742
Nice sound design, incorporating some foley in the track is a nice touch, sounds very "into the nature" ambience if thats what you,re looking for.
Really nice chill, but not too chill vibes throughout even with the constant percussion.
Like Kale already mentioned, having some more variation/development on the parts would help to keep it from getting too repetitive.
And I personally would've liked to hear one track that didn't have any drums on it, since you had great sound worlds on all the tracks so it would've been cool to hear how you approached a track without having drums giving the momentum and power.
Good job!
Track 1
Birds - maybe a little too frequent to where it doesn't sound natural due to your track having it as a more constant stream of chirps, rather than more delicately chiming in.
Compositionally, it's maybe a little repetitive in that it doesn't develop or transform much. This is one of the biggest challenges of ambient music, and I'm glad I made a jam focused on ambience because I myself realized it wasn't as easy as I thought!
Track 2
I like the bass percussion. I want the percussion to be spatially farther away. This one so far seems to develop a little more in a way that allows the repetitive theme to not be as grating.
Track 3
So far my favorite. I feel like this one captures the vibe the best.
Overall - thought the footsteps was a fun addition to really give you that feeling of walking. When I look at the waveforms on all three of your tracks, they are all very constant. Having moments that swell and fall, in my mind, is one of the things that makes solid ambience, where moments don't linger too long.
The mix is nice and clear and spacious, and there is a lot of creativity here with what elements where used.
Well done! :)
Birds, drums and synths. Perfect combo! One can hear the footsteps of an adventurer walking through the tracks... The first is sunny and jazzy, the second is like a metalic moon trip, and the night creatures is when they're all out! Loved it. One of the best submissions.
This would be the perfect soundtrack for a documentary short film with a more emotional twinge than usual. I particularly love the contrast you create between wild percussions and delicate pianos in the first track; then, the more folk-like turn you take in the third one with those lovely flutes. The second track is still great, don’t worry, I just preferred those two the most! Great job
great soundtrack, the first track had me mesmerised by the birds, the second track had great idm percussion and all the same beautiful bird tunes in the background and the third is a nice ambient with the use of steps and all the same wonderful birds just a delight
