Description
Okay...
The game is quite simple! You are a French knight of DEATH who died a long time ago. You were buried in your sarcophagus in a crystal cave.....

One day, in the depths of the caves, a VULCAN awoke. A race of some no-good villains have appeared near the volcano, and they want to harness the energy of the lava to CONQUER THE WORLD!!!1!
But because of their somewhat magical activities, you've been resurrected!

On their side are armies of robots, goblins, zombies, birds, bats, huge amounts of firearms, lasers and a huge amount of buildings and barricades all over the caves....

...you have...
..have...
...GUNS, A TRUSTY STEED AND LASERS!!!1!!!

***

The basic concept of the game is a small, overhead view shooter!

The tracks work as tracks! They are all relatively always dynamic because there is no time to rest! Each individual part of the tracks are engaged, depending on the situation and how close you are to the end of the level. Easy? I hope so...

Style - ...just have fun. I believe that if you're a death knight, you can wreak havoc on your enemies with any kind of music! It's all about ammo, music and a trusty horse. And what's going on right now. use your imagination! Don't fill your head with complicated motives. you are death incarnate! DESTROY!!!

Inspired by Jan Cyrka and Trent Reznor :>

Going more specific on each track, then:

Main Menu Zone - I think you shouldn't have many questions about this track.... This is main menu music! A little bit of pathos

Somethat Repaired Zone - You're awake! You have a gun for some reason, a rabid crow is gloating over you. А... you also have a horse, a bunch of enemies and crystals...

Crystal Zone - Okay. it's getting hotter and hotter. The crystals are already red and shooting lasers! There are hammers everywhere, breaking caves and punching long tunnels. There are HATECOMS coming out of the old tunnels!!!1! And then there are giants! (They didn't eat). Please be careful at first and then just run down!

Lava Center Zone - Oh... it's even hotter! There's sand, lava, glass and... High-tech equipment? But that's okay, because you've already got an arsenal to have fun with! Meatgrinder in the warehouses, quietly blow up huge red barrels and, of course, in the end you must stand up to the horde of enemies on the bridge!

Time Bomb Zone - You've entered a large industrial castle... there's high-tech construction going on, robots marching everywhere and... THE MAIN VILLAIN! AN EVIL HOBGOBLIN! Who likes to use distortion on the speakers...and he's also a PSYCHO! Insane! ...a bit of an idiot..... Run around the castle, destroy all the magical totems that feed the evil sorcerers and RUN!!!! Because the main villain at the very beginning of the level said that.... THE CASTLE IS BOOBY-TRAPPED!!!! Avoid the traps that slow you down, fight no less than hordes of enemies, and in the end... RUN! NO TIME FOR A BOSSFIGHT!

...are you done? Thank you! What happened to the knight? Well. he gained immortality, but he got buried in the caves, so at best he'll be discovered by archaeologists in a couple hundred years :>

Have fun!

This is super cool like others say, but I will put my comments on some tracks so I don't just drop a "nice" and move on.

Crystal Zone, I feel like it needs more syncopation. Specifically the section 0:50 to around 1:30 feels like it wants to be this breakcore drum thing but its seems to hit the fill on the and of 4 every time, which makes it feel really predictable when the song kinda gives a vibe of not the 4/4 yeah? I think it would sound interesting going the e and of 2, then and uh of 3, etc.

Lava Center Zone, I think the instrument used at 2:20 and other parts of the song could be a little brighter? It sounds choked to me, especially since it takes a lead in multiple parts. Maybe the high end eq is too aggressive for my taste?

Time Bomb Zone, that sweeping drill noise doesn't lead to a whole lot of replayability, it might get tiring quickly ingame. Maybe some other sound design choices on it would the mitigate the "problem" for me, not sure thought. It is definitely used a lot in that song!

Great work man, mad respect for 18 minutes of music.

Only 18 minutes? XD Never change, Vanna (I'd call you Fox, but Foxhyode is also Fox lol)

I'm starting to think you're like Slash where you're not actually real, you're just this sort of myth that floats around. Your style is always so fascinating too, just totally wild and out there, so youthful and spontaneous. Like, you're always shockingly spontaneous, and it's so charming.

I'm trying to think of exactly what to offer for constructive feedback, because I want to see you develop in a way, like maybe some of the mix could use more of a sense of space, and some of the artificial sounding instruments could be more balanced out. But, it's always hard to critique you because I also don't want to cramp the unique style you have that you clearly like to write in.

As always, it's a pleasure to listen.

(also could you put up your screenshot?)

Thank you for submitting dude, glad you wrote a little something for this jam, I thoroughly enjoyed it, had a big grin the whole time.

Rather cool industrial rock album. I especially liked the panning bits in Crystal, Lava Center, and Time Bomb Zones.

Really wacky and fun, in all the best ways 😁.

Based on your description and the vibes on the tracks, this would probably fit nicely in a binding of isaac style game.

Good job!

It brought to mind the Mega Man soundtrack
