Definitely has a chill fun vibe.
I think the midi is a little too midi, in the choppiness of it, like there could be more control of velocity, especially when notes repeat. Stringed instruments don't do well with repetition like that. Even a small sounding track needs some reverb and sense of space to bring it together, so I would add that.
But the vibe is really nice and fun. Great work! :)
Hear you man, I'm definitely not a big fan of the midi sound font haha. Next time next time.
Thanks for listening!
Like DSound said, its a nice melody! But it felt to me you could have some rests in the main parts, or move the melody to another instrument at some point, since as is the cello just keeps playing without a rest it gets a bit taxing to listen in the long run.
The musescore sounds dont really do this justice, but is sure if this was played live it would sound/feel a lot different (in a good way😀)
Nice one!
Totally agree with adding more multi measure rests, both makes it far easier to record and would give some more relaxing vibe to the composition. Some part of my brain is just like "I gotta write notes everywhere and make it busy" so it is something I am working on.
Thanks for listening!
It's a nice melody, though IMO the attack on the string doing the melody was a little slow for some of the more rapid runs.
Thanks for the feedback!
This really does fit the vibe for a deathknight cafe lol!
Thanks for listening!
That piece is such a vibe!
If I were to nitpick, violin (cello?) sounds a tinsy bit sluggish for a lead melody in the upper range. That happens often to people when working with strings. Either roll back on the attack, or turn off snapping and try to offset that by bringing string track a few hundred ms to the left.
Lower range seems fine, so maybe a split was in order?
Either way, a very enjoyable composition :)
Thanks for listening! I appreciate the feedback and I will definitely play with this idea.
Chill medieval vibes!
Thanks for listening!
Nice and mellow, I like how it isn’t flooded with instruments. The bass is very jazzy like it wants to wander around haha, that’s a vibe. Only suggestions, I think maybe a bit of reverb or saturation could help create some more dynamics, or maybe playing with the velocities to make it feel a bit more natural. Nice work!
Thanks for listening! I think my recent study of steely dan helped with the bassline lol.
I 100% agree I gotta put some hours in with some reverb plugins to figure out how they work.
Vibes...
Melodic violin, friendly bass and coffee
I can definitely say that the track sounded French :>
Coffee <3
I agree with the French thing but I don't listen to any of that kind of music so I have no idea why it sounds like that haha.
Thanks for listening!!
