Simple "search stuff and put them in place" game but sweet, definitely enjoyed my time with this one.

Particularly liked the spritework detail, diagonal movement and changing after getting the cloak!

One tiny criticism is that the music is good but not sure if it exactly fits the game's theme of survival, had more "let's go in an adventure!" vibes, although the protagonist is always smiling and optimistic.

Another small criticism is that it feels a bit of a wasted opportunity for there not be more "bad ends" for wrong decisions. Like the protagonist often goes "I shouldn't do this right now because I don't have enough energy", but then you could offer the player the option to try anyway and then die due to their poor decision.

Oh, also the game's window has a typo when actually opened:

Besides those nitpicks of mine, all-around nice job!

Thank you. One of the pluses of Wolf is that despite having much smaller assets than RPG Maker, they all have 8 directional movement by default. I had to laugh a little at the bad end deaths suggestion, since the game I made after this one, Isolated Future World, leaned into that way too heavily and had a lot of other issues due to me trying to add survival and a complex story into a game in 10 days and I ended up unpublishing it until I can get it properly finished. Hopefully I can get a happy medium :)

Good luck finishing your game.

This game is very short but it's a good start. I liked the music and the sense of exploration. I really like how it "teases" you by showing paths that you can't cross yet so you always know there's more to the world than what you see. One suggestion is to add a  "quest log" that tells you what you need to do at a given time.

That might be a good idea. Thanks!

Nice little game! Fully playable, I had no great difficulties to play. All in all a bit short but I guess the story can be enlarged still. I like the style. Which assets did you use? I didn't find the credits. But some of the sprites look very familiar. Or did you create everything youself?

Glad you enjoyed the game. I hope to use this type of premise for more/longer games in the future, so thanks for your feedback.

I made the game in Wolf RPG Editor and used all in engine assets. Wolf's kinda like  a free RPG Maker, though it's unaffiliated and not commonly used. No idea if you've played Wolf games before, but the assets do look similar to RPG Maker and classic JRPG assets in general.

I see. Well, once more well done. Thanks to the improvements you mention in your devlog it is a finished little game I would say.
