GOREGOUS game. Fantastic aesthetic, gameplay is unique, and this feels very cohesive/put together. Excellent work!!
Seemed like a really polished game in audio, visuals and gameplay. I loved the colour scheme and animations in particular. The gameplay was simple yet there was enough to keep you interested. I did feel that it got quite hectic quite quickly with all the different things you have to think about so maybe a slower skill curve would have been nice. That's really just a nitpick because everything else is so good though. Amazing job!

I got to about 122 score on my second try.
I think the game does become unplayable after a certain point with the amount of things you have to do at once but that just might be a skill issue.

This is really good. the pixel art beautiful and the colors well chosen. The gameplay is simple and fun, upgrades feel meaningful. It gets very intense after a while.
If you want to work more on the game after the jam, try making the tutorial interactive- it is confusing to learn the rules from the wall of text. Also, I had a hard time distinguishing between the praying and not praying souls with all the stuff going on.
Overall the game feels great and polished, very well done.

For the paying/non paying souls, fair enough but yeah you're supposed to get a bit overwhelmed, ferry the guys with the coins, kill the rest, lose points for getting it wrong! gotta lock in hahaha
