I liked this game! It was pretty fun and I liked your concept with the portals. The music was really good as well as the sfx. Others have already mentioned the UI bug so no need to bring it up again. I do think some type of health bar and some visual feedback would be helpful to the player so they know when they're hit. The controls were also a little "slippery" feeling, the player moved incredibly fast and built up momentum pretty quickly. Toning that down a bit might give the player a better sense of control. Overall though fun little game and great effort!

The idea of the portals is really cool, but i think it could be improved on a little bit, since i found that it was rather easy staying alive if i just stood still at the top of the level, as the enemies would just fall down to the bottom, if the enemies or enemies's projectiles passed the portals that would make the game a little bit more challenging, also there's no way of keeping your score, a timer would have felt nice, the idea is really good, the music is good. good game.

Thank you for the feedback. I will take all of this into consideration if I ultimately decide to continue this project.

Good concept. The music is cool and I like the idea of the portals. Regarding the problem you have with it menu maybe it's that the instances of some object are not reset correctly when reloading the scene.

With time I think you can make a good platformer from here. Great job!

Thanks for the feedback. I’m sure I’ll be able to fix that weird UI glitch.

Cool game, the portals are a really cool idea. The sounds are also amazing! But something i think is missing, is a health bar, so you know how many hits you have left, and it'd be really cool if the bullets go through portals too! But other than that, i really like the game.

This was fun, reminds me a lot of the original mario arcade game. The only thing is that the enemies seem to go and stay at the first floor

Developer

Wow, thanks. That's kind of what I was aiming for when making this game. I also appreciate the feedback.
