  • Heya, thanks so much for participating in the jam! I like this idea, creating the character of the grandma to inject some urgency. It was nice having split goals as well, and it definitely increased in difficulty as time went on, just because there was limited space. Graphics were good, but the soundtrack was top notch. Great work there. My gripes come from a couple of places, both implementation focused. First, I had some issues where the game would stick objects to my character, and I could no longer put them down or give them to sister, this broke the experience a bit. Secondly, I struggled a bit to understand when and why grandma was mad at first. The description on the game's page explains this, but in-game clarity around the cause and severity of her anger would be really appreciated. Break points like her anger boiling over (game over) should be really clear, but that last 5% was very ambiguous once you reached her red face. If she calmed down over time, this also would help show the state a bit more clearly. Perhaps a bar, timer or number next to her face throughout, or even just before the game over, would have been helpful.

Great game! Love the idea and the art was flawless. Unfortunatly, I got stuck in some bugs, but overall great job!

Thank you for the feedback and the kind words! I'm sorry that the bugs got in the way hopefully I will be able to resolve them after the voting period has ended...

Great game, had a good time. I liked the graphics and the catchy music. Gameplay was simple and enjoyable. Some colliders seemed too big for the item itself. Picking/dragging was bit buggy, as seen below.

XDD yeah I was aware of those bugs, but I just didn't have enough time to fix them sadly. I'm trying to get faster at development so that hopefully I can submit a game jam game that is bug-free.

Haha, all good. They were quite entertaining.  And no need to sweat about bugs really, can't ever get rid of them completely.

Nice game! Definitely enjoyed playing. I did get in a state where everything I grabbed got stuck to me near the end but it didn't stop me from completing the game.

Thank you for the feedback! Maybe I will address all the bugs after the voting period has ended. Fixing bugs take so much time haha

This game was very charming! The game play was simple enough to follow but was still challenging. Also the music was great :)
